tmac will be like grant hill, but i dont think he's modest enough as a person to accept a role like grant hill one day, tmac would just retire if the spotlight wasn't on him. I mean right now he can't accept the fact hes not a star, can you imagine if yao was like iverson and put up 27 attempts a game? Assuming yao's 60% FG and on avg 8-10 ft a game you're talking 15/27 and 8 made ft a night, do the math thats 38 pts a game, but no we have tmac going 4-19 and yao going 7-9, TMAC is like that kid youn played with at the YMCA when you were a kid, he thinks he's the star but he just isn't but his parents still tell him he's god so he puts up 20 shots a game, find me whoever is telling tmac is still a star and let me talk with them

As of right now, he would just be another player.

But its too early to tell right now, I'm not too worried. I am pretty certain everyone will be ready entering the playoffs and TMac always shows up.

At least Yao has the first good chinese player to fall back on if he never makes it out of the first round. Tmac will be forgotten pretty much except ocassionally old school videos unless he starts winning.

Not true; his first 7-8 years he played almost injury free; he doesn't get the injury pass; he has superstar talent but not the superstar will to win; jordan, olajuwon, magic, bird, and kobe would do ANYTHING to win; not so with McGrady

T-Mac never had potential. He took steroids, hit a couple buckets, and got a fat contract. Can you hate him for that? You are all jealous.

He overachieved like Francis and I love him for that.

tmac. he's the guy who made the rockets go out and get ron artest!
here's something for u guys to think about.
remember when dream was helping yao out on his game? dream is rich and retired. he doesn't have to help this team out. but he takes his time to help yao cause he loves the rockets and loves basketball.
that's a true rockets hero. the dream.
would tmac do this after he retires?

this is my opinion. when tmac is done, he won't be as loyal to the rocket as dream. magic shows loyalty to the lakers. you see bill russell at the celtics games. dream will always love the rockets and the city of houston. its pride. he set the standard for effort. effort is not being a scoring champ in orlando. its being the mvp, finals mvp and defensive player of the year. that's why tmac will never have a statue. if he wants one he has to show the heart and effort of the dream.

at the end of the cleveland game. ron was still playing hard d on lebron. even though we couldn't win.
when ron came to the rockets. he first said he was proud to be with an organization that had dream and clyde.
    there's still hope my friend.

Its too early to predict that, he still has years to play. If he wins a championship in Houston, he will definitely be loyal to the Rockets.
