You can't just leave TMac in the game when he's not making any contribution. He's been terrible on offense AND defense the last 2 games. When he's had games like this in the past, it's not like all of a sudden he gets it going. When his knee isn't responding, that's it. I'd say, if the only option is Loser Head, then I'd understand RA's hesitancy. However, he's mentioned over and over again that he likes a Rafer and Brooks backcourt. Nobody's exploited Brooks horribly on the defensive end this year. He's held his own. The last 2 games we've also had Barry as an option at the 2 (and it's not like the Cavs or Hornets 2 is any kind of a post-up presence). There's no reason to leave TMac out there. I don't understand the philosophy.

It's hard to say if TMac is trying to prove a point by playing injured and showing everybody his knee is no good. Bullard called him out on the postgame tonight. That was good to see. Quit complaining about your injury and, if you play, please try. I'd also like to see somebody like Yao call TMac out in public on this. If you want to call him out in private, that's fine... but occassionally somebody needs to get in his face when he makes some lackadaisical behind-the-back pass 3 feet beyond the arc. To me, Yao is the one guy who should be complaining. As hard as he tries and as much abuse as he puts up with, I'd be livid at TMac.

One final note, Wafer should be playing over Loser Head at the two. I don't know why RA gave up on him so easily. He's ten times the defender Loser is and he's much better at finishing at the basket. He also isn't a turnover machine. This whole deal about Head being better at the motion offense is a joke. Doesn't mean much to be better at backcutting if you just blow the layup or turn it over once you get the ball. Head has been our worst plus-minus guy for 2 or 3 yrs now. Hello Daryl... are you asleep at the wheel on this? This is right in your wheelhouse, big guy.

Adleman lacks the balls to do that. If it was Phil Jackson or Pop, Tmac would be riding the pine.

I'm so freaking tired of T-mac being lazy. He cost us this game. This team is a freakin joke. They have no heart. Yao played well, but tracy is just pathetic at this point

    That is the coach's job.

Criticizing a teammate is not a good thing.

you can't bench him, through some travesty (most likely int'l voting) he is the 2nd leading vote getter for guards in teh West over Chris Paul

Don't forget a couple of times earlier in the season Adelman sat McGrady at the end when Artest was healthy. Adelman blew it tonight but not so much with Tracy, IMO.

Maybe the middle paragraph is redundant to things said in other threads but I think my point about Adelman could only have been made in the last game or two. It's the 1st time we've been healthy enough to have other options. I don't put Head in "other options". I also think TMac had been playing well since he came back in.. until the last couple games.

I dont konw how to say about Tmac, just tired of his lazy attitude. I could say its a safe bet that Tmac unable to well play three games in a row. I wont feel any surprised when he play sucks...Tmac doesnt deserve All Star at all. I feel ashamed about his one excuses after another...

I'm just tired of the yo-yo'ng he's got going on. If he's hurt, he should sit...if he's not, he should play. He sure as hell shouldn't be playing if he's not 100%. He's obviously hurting...he moves like an old man out there.
He's the oldest 29 year old in the league.

I have two problems with the attitudes you fans have:

    1. If Tmac does make excuses (this I am assuming because I don't watch post game interviews), I don't understand why this is a bad thing. Is this bad for the team? I don't get it. Am I to understand that if he said "well, I played bad and thats that", that you would be ok with everything else? So why is it a big deal that he makes excuses? Unless its hurting the team chemistry somehow (which I seriously doubt is the case) then it doesn't matter what he is saying. You guys are just looking for another reason to hate.

    2. There is a double standard here. If he rests, he's got no balls because he isn't playing on an injury. If he goes and sucks, you roast his ass for sucking and some even say he should rest. If he goes and plays well, you guys get this attitude of "well, he still played horrible in other games so screw him". What do you want the guy to do?

He's playing bad, but I feel as if its a waste of breath to even b**** about it. We need a 20-5-5 Tmac to be competitive in the playoffs. We aren't going to trade him, there is no quick fix for him to suddenly break out of his slump forever. So again... b****ing about it just is a waste of breath and puts this board into a pit of negativity.
