Thats my point. There is no "it". Its a false choice. Take the 10mill and RUN.

With true love, at least I know I work where my heart leads me with full support and possibly land with 10 million or more.

She only has to pretend until you say "I do". Then the price you sold true love for becomes a broken marriage and half the 10 million.

well it depends on the details:

if by taking the $10M i'm forfeiting any chance ill ever have at true love, then i probably wouldn't want it.

if the choice is $10M or being set up with my true love right away, then i'd take the money and find love myself.

If it's option A, would you be able to truly love your kids? I mean, if you never had true love with a woman, but you still ended up having kids, wouldn't the kids offer enough "true love" to get you through to the finish line?

In the mean time, 10 million would make for a pretty big pile of drugs to drown your loveless sorrows in.

now you guys are trying to twist it so you get your cake and eat it too. if you get the 10mil, no true love... ever. you'll always wonder what could have been. but with the money, there's nothing to stop you from having future relationships, just not "the one"

certaintly not from my "POV".. true love shouldn't be viewed as a person, or ideal.. should not be confined to our own self-defined and self-designed images of what we think it to be.. certaintly shouldn't be viewed as the mere clumination of compatibility.. love is the impetus for how you approach, treat the person.. not what's created by how you do so..
just as how well you approach, treat the obstacles, challenges, and trials of a lasting relationship.. is measured by how worth your efforts they are to you.. or.. evaluation.. of just how much you do love the person to overcome each and every one..

"true love".. with that inclusion of the word "true".. which is definied as irrefutably, undeniably, undebatably genuine, real, sincere as fact.. makes it something that can't really be created.. more than.. discovered.. as all truths are, certaintly those of our existence and life.. and something that can only be denied via a personal lack of acceptance.. just as love sprouts from within you ability to be a little more forgiving, to try a little more, to feel more liberation of your heart, or simply have you consider the possibilities more.. depending on the person and their level of felt love inside themselves.. if a person were to raise the feeling of true love from within you.. it would to be raise the utmost possibility of each to the utmost genuine truth of your heart.. absolute forgiveness, absolute fight, absolute freedom.. for both you, and the person you feel it for.. as applied, and offered by you..

The axiomatic efficacy cogent to the abeyance attenuates desultory bathos bulwark in the gregarious hegemony of bellicose conciliatory nihilism. On the other hand, pejorative misogyny and laconic, quixotic remonstrance can lead to ubiquitous vainglory or salient, surreptitious vicissitudes.

    Not to be loquacious, though.

Assuming this is your one and only true love

    would your choice be different?

I would choose true love - I am confident in what I can do, I think I can live a pretty comfortable life touch wood without the 10mil. I might never have 10mil, but I wont need money desperately

 I thought most people were going to respond to this poll that they preferred true love, and that was a no-brainer... guess not. That explains something.

Indignation... but sure. I am fat. I defend myself and my fellow fat people. I am not pretending I am not or that my concerns are completely selfless.

Course when you make blanket statements about the moral character of all those (especially women) who like anal sex...you seem like you have a personal interest too. Perhaps one day you will tell us about it.

interesting.. 45 of my posts in that thread as you count them.. yet missed the great majority of which clarified.. that it was not a moral issue.. and had nothing to do with morality.. was more an issue of capacity.. of people's extent of emotional expression..

no personal interest.. beyond it being a sort of passion of mine.. to constantly challenge it..

I'm really surprised at the people in this thread. You don't really need a lot of money to reach the most happiness that money can bring - unless you are a drug addict.

Money is only really good for providing security and removing worries. So after you reach a certain level of wealth, additional money only creates different worries: how to protect it, how to manage it, how to stop in-laws from begging you for it...

I honestly believe that while winning a net $1,000,000 in the lottery would make me happier. I would still have to work, but would have more freedom to be picky about work conditions and would have enough of a head start that retirement would be easy.

However, winning $10 million in the lottery would make me and my wife unhappier. We would lose direction, and might even lose our way and get divorced.

    So for me, it's a no-brainer - I would choose true love.

Money can't buy happiness? It can buy two chicks, cocaine, viagra, and a hotel room. Have you ever seen a guy on coke and viagra getting blown by two chicks? Does he look unhappy?

Ok...so now that I know I can still have gals to go along with my $10M...but I just won't have "true love"....then give me the $$$. I think I will be fine with a whole lotta like.

I mean honestly, what the hell is true love? Can any adult (I'm 30) say they have only been in love one time? I have met more than one woman that I could have seen myself married to...if I would have say, met them all in the stage of my life that I'm in now.

    So show me the $$$$......
