did anyone happen to watch the Cavs-Wizards game tonight? the refs and Cavs together stole another one at home...no wonder they're undefeated. 11-0 run to end the game by the Cavs with 6 fouls to 1 against the Wizards
I had the game on but was not paying attention. One thing I have noticed in the 6-8 Cavs games I have watched this season is that the refs absolutely will not make calls against Lebron in the 4th (I know some of you will say that is obvious). He can foul, travel or anything else and the whistle will not sound. He is a great, great player but sometimes it gets a bit frustrating to know that in a close game the Cavs pretty much have the win locked down since they get those 3 extra players on the court.
You called that "lucky"??? I think that is 100% cheating. Cleveland Cavs should be renamed to Cleveland Refs
Hey that is actually a good name "The Cleveland Referees are suit up and ready to play tonight against Yao Ming, Ron Artest and Tracy McGrady of the Rockets. The outcome of this will indeed be interesting, as the winner of this game will notch the first seed of their conference" "The ball is up and they are ready to go! Yao Ming gets the tipped, but he is called for an offensive foul. Officials say Yao Ming jumped on the tip-off. Yao Ming's first foul, first team foul on the Rockets". Cleveland Commentators would then say "Good call by the Refs, Yao can't get away with every single foul."
I usually don't blame refs for games but this was most definitely decided by them. Had Yao been able to play in the 3rd qtr. they would never have had the lead they did and we probably would have won!
Yeah, refs usually make bad calls here and there, but its usually evened between both teams. Sometimes its worse for one team than the other, but very rarely do a few bad calls make or break the game. Unfortunantly, this was one of those times. It's hard to say if we would have won or not if Yao had played all his minutes, but it would have been much closer. I would have thought the refs would get together during half and decided to call less flops. If they would have just watched the 3 fouls, they would have seen that probably only 1 was legit. By the way, I thought the NBA came up with a rule this year or last, against flopping? I thought they were going to start calling flops fouls on the players who flopped... Am I just making that up? lol
