I think we should all take a little time out to say something mean about Scottie Pippen.

    Scottie, you suck.

    In mathematical terms:
    Loser + Whiner + $14 million = Quitten

Don't read too much into the win, the Blazers are locked into their playoff spot, and are just resting key players for the playoff run.

    Resting their Players...

Yeah..thats why Steve Smith and his creaky knees played almost the whole game and Bonzi never broke a sweat. Anyway..gotta love that ESPN has that Shandon move over Pippen on its front page! Pippen..you suck..
Shandon is Better at 1/7 the price!

Khan's right. Smith played 35 minutes, Wallace 39 minutes, Pippen 32 minutes. O'Neal and Stoudamire didn't play starter's minutes, but they never do. I'm not suggesting that Portland was actually firing on all cylinders, but they were trying to win.

the Blazers are definitely not resting their team for the playoffs, they're currently trying to stay above Utah for home court advantage w/ a 3 game margin.

Uh, I might be wrong here, but I don't think that Portland can finish above Utah unless they pass up the Lakers. The Lakers will take the 1 seed and the Jazz will take the 2 seed as the winner of the Midwest, regardless of what their record is compared to the second place Blazers. I know you probably know that already.

Therefore, am I to assume that if the Blazers finish with a better record than the Jazz and meet them in the semi-final, that the Blazers would have home court advantage?

exactly triplebogey... while the division leaders dictate matchups in the first round (Utah's staring at Sacramento, and Sacramento's not scared) the second matchup (winners of 2-7 and 3-6) is based on homecourt advantage, not numeric seeding.

This is the first year that I've ever thought that the Jazz might win the title. Even in game 6, when Karl had the ball with the lead and 20 seconds on the clock, I never thought they could win anything. Here's to the Kings (and their overhyped 33% shooting pg).

    Crisco,
Quitten being CONSIDERED (???) for the 50 Ugliest Players list? He should be A LOCK for the top three.

Another ex-Rocket would give him a run!

How is Utah going to beat Sacramento without Badass Shandon Anderson nailing two clutch threes at the end of the elimination game?
Bye bye Kung-fu Karl, looks like your stuck in the same boat as Barkley, retiring with no rings. And you actually deserve it(not getting a ring that is).
