Recognize the Birth of the Next Chinese Superstar: Steve Francis

Grizzlies did the trade for the 2nd round pick and maybe the cash, most likely they have no intention of playing Francis. Morey basically had to pay Grizzlies to take Francis off his hands.

In other words, Francis has negative trade value even at his current small salary. People don't think he can contribute $2.5 million worth of play.

There is, however, an outlet for washed up ex-Yao Ming teammates. It's called the CBA. Minor cast members of the Yao drama like Snyder, Harris and Wells got the top contracts in China. Imagine what Francis, who starred as the "Helpful Yao Leader" in Season 1 of the series can get! Not to mention that his shoe deal probably requires him somewhere visible to Chinese fans.

I reckon he will drop 30 points, 14 rebounds and -2 assists in the CBA.

No chances he's going there. He's doesn't desparately need the money like Harris or Wells. If he really wants to play. He'll should head to Europe league.

he's going to play in memphis, hes already said that, and anyways the grizzlies wanted francis. The head coach said they were looking for another go to scorer so they went after francis hoping he still has something

I am a Chinese, and I do think Francis will go to China someday, but now he is going to slap the stupid Alderman right on his face. He will go to the place,Grizzlies, where the dream begins, and show his quality. I am sure Morey and Alderman will regret what they had done to our franchise.

And when Francis has done with NBA career, he can go to CBA, he is more than welcomed there! Way better than go to Europe!

    Really LARGE!

The fans of the opponents team even cheered loudly for Bonzi.

I seldom watch CBA games, but yesterday I tuned in because Bonzi was here in Beijing to play.

I can see the CBA organization is laughing in the shadow!

Ex Rockets players that go to the CBA generally receive a lot of attention because they've already gained exposure by playing on the Rockets.

I can't wait SF3 to come to Shanghai. Yao is from Shanghai, but none of these 3 ex-NBA play for Shanghai. Yes, I'm in Shanghai. We are suffering from 14 lose in row...
    COME ON STEVE!!!
