let me know what yao did bad, seriously.

oh and battier was playing good defense.....

t-mac on the other hand, idk what he was doing, i thought he was pacing himself for the final quarter, but he didn't do anything throughout the whole game. My only guess is that he's trying to stay away from getting injured, because when he stole that pass i wanted him to bang, but he slowed down when NO ONE was infront of him. -.-'

We should get together and make a website or something which tracks officiating on Yao w/ video and all. Tracking blown calls on a nightly basis with viedo of the incident, then start pushing it across other other fan boards. Something like this needs to start somewhere in order for any real aknowledgement to happen.

there're 5 people in the court at one time. if McGrady only scores 10ps more, we will be the winner.

If Yao could hit one among his last three shots, maybe it were a different story. I am not blaming Yao, Refs refused to give call to Z at that time. I can only say that every NBA coach wants players like Artest or Yao, they are true worriors.

I was pretty mad about those three shots too, I thought he should've drove to the middle and do the fade away. But maybe Yao is not quite there yet.

WTF? Teams shouldn't need to fight uphill battles. Games should be fair. Whenever someone says a team should have won "despite <insert unfair obstacle>", there is something inherently wrong.

Yeah, they should have attacked. THe camp-out around the 3-point line didn't work when Yao missed those 3 shots. 4 guys around the arch is too much. It would have been nice to have Scola or Landry in there to offensive rebound.

Man, the cavs really used their home court advantage over us in this game. Bad calls by the refs in this game, taking Yao out most of the game.

Facing a top team like the cavs really showed things the Rockets need to work on.

    1. Devise a better pick and roll defense when Yao is the weak side defender. Cavs exploited the speed mismatch in all the situations I saw.

    2. Shane had several post-up attempts against the smaller guards of the Cavs but didn't convert even one shot. His defense is a given, but what will set his contribution apart from the previous years is if he becomes at least a consistent threat in the offense through post-ups or drives to the hole when the opportunity opens up.

    3. I'm a big T-mac fan but someone needs to tell Tracy to be TMac, we all miss that guy. His been MIA the whole season. The commentators keep calling him Tracy since his performance didn't justify him being called his previous dominating self. Everybody from the team needs to tell him that they rely on him and not only Yao to bring them to a higher level. I understand that its a 4th game in 5 days and he played within the team concept, but when the other team's best player brings it, he just needs to bring it with whatever he can right now coz everybody knows he's not 100%. I still believe in the rockets and T-mac.

    4. In the last minutes of the game, I think Coach Rick could have used the Hack-a-Ben strategy at least to get the cavs off-balance. Gregg Popovich uses it to disrupt the Suns flow by using the Hack-a-Shaq, why can't we.

On a positive note, great game by Aaron, Rafer, and Ron today. They all showed that even in defeat they don't back down. That's the attitude I want Yao and Tmac to show every game because they are the leaders of this team.

    Happy Holidays to everyone :)

Go Rockets! Beat the crappy Hornets in the next game.

very pissed of result, we should have won this game despite the officiating:

    TMac is sheMac again,
RA has coaching problem, should bench TMac in 2nd half, and should not bench Yao in 3Q, it must be **** in his head. The team is so deep now we don't need sheMac to win, should replace sheMac with Barrry or Barry/ Vofer/ Head in 2nd half, if sheMac is not contributing, why you leave him in the court?

    Fxxx sheMac and RA

James and Artest exchanged a few high elbows, choice words and menacing stares during the period. They also got into it in the final seconds, when Artest was whistled for a technical after shoving James down.

"I was playing hard,'' Artest said. "If you're going to lose, you lose with dignity. You always play hard. "Every time we play against each other, it's fun. I'm in a different situation now and I'm not on him as much as I'd like to be. Guys like that push me.''

This is what artest was quted after the game about his matchup with lebron!
