I have a co worker that lives and dies for sandwiches, once he turned down a steak dinner because he brought a couple of ham and cheese sandwiches from home. He makes me eat at Quiznos with him everyday and if he decides to take a break from Quiznos, he makes me go to Subway instead. He even took a picture of a sandwich he made and sent it to me during the week to tease me. We have a Cafe downstairs at my job that sells $20 sandwiches, he stops by the deli just to stare at the people eat $20 sandwiches before we go grab a sandwich at Quiznos. I am just wondering, is this obsession of sandwiches normal or does this guy seem to take sandwiches to a whole other level? Do you know someone like this at your job? I thought this was not normal but than at the Rockets game last week I had an uncle that chowed down 2 foot long sandwiches then attempted to smuggle one into the Toyota Center with him, when he got caught with the sandwich in his hand, instead of throwing it away, he stuck it in his pocket and walked around to the other side to get in through another door. He eventually got the sandwich into the arena and ate it while he watched the game. I know sandwiches are popular and there are countless commercials about sandwiches, but this is getting a little out of hand.
It's an OCD, although a minor one. Kind of like people that have to poo at specific times of the day. I still don't get that one.
I'd stop hanging out with this sandwich lover. I would say it's a little weird, who stares at other people eating sandwiches? Does this coworker make his wife eat a sandwich as foreplay?

I bring a sandwich for lunch if I don't have leftovers. But if I brought lunch and someone offered me steak, I would keep the lunch in the fridge.
2 things that jumped out from this post to me: 1. He "makes [you] eat at" somewhere? Please tell me he's the CEO and you're cleaning the restrooms. Otherwise, why are you doing what he tells you? Don't you have a brain of your own ? Stand up for yourself. You wanna be a slacker for the rest of your life? See? This is what happens to slackers. 2. You didn't say "sandwich" enough in your post. Can you please add "sandwich" in there a few more times? I didn't exactly get what you were talking about. Yes, I eat a sandwich. The sandwiches Mrs. SwoLy makes me are the best ever and I eat them with gusto. What's wrong with eating a sandwich? Now, eating a peanut butter sandwich for lunch... now THAT's psycho...
