rafer+head+head is at 8.5 mil. Camby is at 10m.
Problem is, does this qualify for Les major major player, as it surely will bring the rox over the tax?

I have no problem for stats padding, 1-on-1 D, he cant go worst than scola/landry.

Things that he can really help the rox. Weak side help, and guarding the paint.
He can do the 15 ft jumper provide spacing for yao. And rebounds? His one of the best rebounder in the game. And he have legit size(6-11) to play center when resting yao.

Brad miller, a good big body that can shoot the 3. But at his contract, and only expecting him to play primary back up for yao. I say no.

A couple of yrs ago, yao was putting up great numbers, but the team was losing. You really can't judge a guys production on that. He was on a a couple of playoff teams in denver. Nene and martin took turns missing seasons. Andre Miller was traded for iverson.. I try not to bring up stats or avg and maybe they won't trade him for scola and filliers, but to say he wouldn't be perfect because of what he bring is crazy. Guys don't shoot over him like scola. He contest shots, run the floor, rebound like crazy and block shots. Very good passer. Can actually make a entry pass from the high post.

I think Boone from NJ has good enough footspeed to play some 4/5. In the offseason I wanted Turiaf or Mihm. 2 guys that can play both spots. Its been a problem and adelman knows it, but morey seems unconcerned. If yao goes down for 10 games or so, now the team is at a negotiating disadvantage and other teams know it. I would give up shane if I could get frye and outlaw. Outlaw is a better player and getting better. Frye is a 6'11 guy that can backup yao for 16mins a night.

The Nuggets were desperate to dump salary and the Clippers had plenty of money to spend. It was a perfect match. The Nuggets didn't want any salary in return which is why they took the huge trade exception that they are likely going to just let expire. I imagine the reason the Clippers wouldn't give up a 1st round draft pick is that they knew they had a good chance of being in the lottery. If the Clippers were a winning team, the Nuggets likely would have been able to get a 1st round pick like the Kings did in the Artest deal. Very few teams trade away potential lottery picks when they are looking forward to the prospects of rebuilding.

Does anybody on the Clippers have a good +/-? The real question is what is Camby's +/- compared to other players on his team? He also played a lot with their 2nd unit which could bring it down. +/-, by itself, is a sketchy statistic, especially after only a third of the season. What is his adjusted +/-?

Stat-padding is what scrubs do at the end of games when the outcome is already decided. Camby starts racking up rebounds and blocked shots as soon as he enters the game. He's usually not on the court at the end of games if the game is a blow out in either direction.

Some of these trades you suggest seem unrealistic to me.

Can we get a decent back up C by drafting?

    Troy Murphy

6'11 Shoots the 3 ball and is a damn good rebounder 10 mill contract
