Considering Yao's foul trouble and Tracy's no-show, the Rockets did very well.

Why is everyone dogging t-mac? You all know if he would have missed this game on a count of knee problems you all would be on to p of that like icing on a cake. But the fact is he played, he tried, then after 5 games in 4 days and 3 quarters, he couldn't do it any more. Give him credit, he was hot the first quarter, but sometimes your body just wont let you keep hurting it constantly.

    Any one else agree?

I got so disgusted with the way the refs officiated this game I just went ahead and turned off the game after Yao's 4th foul. I couldn't take a minute more of such horrible call making.

Good for the Rockets to persevere and push through. I rarely ever blame the refs but tonight they fully deserve it.

Some fans are blaming Rafer in the post game thread.

How about yesterday, the day before yesterday and tomorrow? .... :D (just kidding).

    Agreed!

I dont think it's too overconfident to say we could beat the Cavs 8 out of 10 times if ONLY the officiating is fairly right!

The officiating just killed the game.

Why did Artest get a technical at the end? It looked to me more like his follow-through was what sent Lebron down, rather than an intentional shove. I liked the feistiness though.

Encouraging effort by the team though. We're the better team without the atrocious officiating.

I agree with the OP. In fact, I think this was the best game of the season so far.

Wins in the regular seasons are fun, but it's games like these that are going to make the Rockets good and tough enough to become a true championship contender.

Because the hard truth is that the Rockets are just not there yet, but they definitely have the potential to be.

Yeah. Take out Rafer and the Rockets lose by 15+. Between Shane's bad defense, Luis' turnovers, T-Mac's issues and Yao's foul trouble, he was a stabilizing force when the team needed it over the long term.

I thought Rafer should of played more in the 4th qt. He was hot. With Cleveland playing Mo Williams and Delonte West most of the 4th Rafer and Brooks should of been out there most of the qt.

I like when people talk about "The potential".

Potential is such an awesome thing, but it can stay potentially forever.

The team isnt getting any younger. You cant be a potential for 20 years.

Mcgrady is a loser, yao is soft and can never lead a team to the finals. Trade them both or try to bring a big gun instead of mcgrady. Something that can play 2 games straight without breaking 20 bones in his body.

lmao, i've been on this thread way longer than you have. I've seen a lot of ups and downs of the team and i have nothing but positive to say about the rockets. however, days like today where the leader of the houston rockets doesn't show up to the court, we as fans deserve to bash him.

btw, calling others r****d? haha, good one.

I guess whoever called that just b@nged LJ's sister(if he has one) last night! It's obvious the refs had some connections with LJ

Why? Because I hate the so called "superstars"?

I love all the others, but I really dislike yao's for being alot of hype and a little of something. Mcgrady I just hate because he is mcgrady, how can you not hate that player?

I am not proud, but not too disappointed with Rox performance in this game. TMac might be bothered by the bad knee again. Let's wait and see the team management's comment on that.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody. Rox will continue to improve and lets hope all players are healthy and put up a great performance in the playoff.

4th game in 5 nights. He just looked tired.

He was sub par tonight, but it's just one game. Let's save our conclusions until the post season.

    Go collect Pokemon cards.

In a seven game series with time to plan for matchups, the Rockets will kick ass.
