wow thats crazy i knew the nets were having hard time selling tickets but i didnt think they would do something like this. whats odd is that most of the teams are the crappier teams and then there is the blazers in there. if i lived anywhere near the NJ area I would try to go to every game possible. i remember when the nets didnt sell out a lot of their tickets for the finals back in 02 and 03
I bought 10 (lower level) for the Blazers game. I'll sell them on eBay and see what I get. $11.00 with taxes and fees makes it worth the buy.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it keeps saying that the passcode "OPUS" isn't in their system. EDIT: and now it's suddenly working...
Wow, I don't believe this floor level seating for 2.50! (including transport and whatever), damn, and to think Lakers floor seats were something like $900!
Man I wish I lived in the Jersey/New York metro area so I can take advantage of this. During the Nets/Mavs game, the PA came on and told everybody to move down to the lower bowl because it was so empty.
Bought 4 more floor seats. I talked to an insider and he said the Nets are really struggling to sell tickets. Last night was one of their better nights since Yao was in the house but the place still looked empty. I doubt I'll get much for the tickets, so I'll just go with a group of friends and have a good time watching the youngsters.
I was about to buy myself some tickets and resell them... but... When Yao and Yi match up was going on... the stadium was half empty. And half of the fans that were there... were Chinese. So I doubt I can make any profit.
yea I was at the game last night and about 30% of the seats were empty. There were probably around 80% asian people there.
The Nets have had, for some time now, the WORST fans in the NBA. Whenever someone talks about relocation I always mention the Nets and everyone looks at me weird just because it's a major market. The fact that it is a big market, they had a successful run for a long time, and they still play in front of a sea of empty pink(?) seats just shows me that their fans suck and always will suck. I don't know maybe the Brooklyn move (if it's still happening) will help them but I'd rather see them move to a place in need of a team, like Seattle. This is also why when people mention them as a possible LeBron destination it's ridiculous. Those fans are pathetic and a disgrace to basketball. They don't even sell out playoff games. It pisses me off. /rant
I got baseline seats for Nets vs. Grizzlies. If anyone legitimately wants them, I'll let you have them with almost no profit.
