Memphis = stupid. They squandered too many opportunities when the Lakers were in a cold spell in the fourth.

on a missed dribble drive by Odom, the softie Pau Gasol fought off multiple opponents to get the rebound and pass out to Kobe for the 3 the kingk0ng was referring.

it was the pivot play of the game
    that it is

ps Lakers won on a 20-9 run.

I'm not sure it was stupidity. The Grizzlies just aren't any good. When the Lakers got intense, they melted.

The Lakers won, but this game shows they are still slumping. It was a worse effort than their Heat & Magic losses.

way to be a classless douche with that slam and general alpha male attitude at the end kobe

id be more pissed than anything it took them so much effort to beat a 9-17 team

I wouldn't consider it to be classless. Kobe ripped the ball near mid court and the first instinct one has on that kind of play is to accelerate and go for the bucket. Granted he could have laid it up, but then it probably wouldn't have counted.

it was a closely contested game. Kobe and his mates are in a slump. they did played well in spurts. they grind out a tough victory. that display of emotion was not classless.
    • only a clueless douche would call it classless
a team of lesser intestinal fortitude would not have won this game in enemy court. a test of a good team---particularly when it is slumping, as it did for 3 qtr of this game---to muster enough to play well in spurts to grind out a tough victory in enemy court.

he was letting his frustration out with that dunk. Last 3 games have not been easy AT ALL.

i know, i live in socal and i watch the lakers on a regular basis and i saw them struggle big time against the knicks, heat, and magic. the two shots against the heat and magic were obviously heartbreakers for the team

i just dont like the move, thats all. your point is well taken, though.

im not going to get into an argument with you but its ridiculous to insult me for having an opinion.

That's what I call trying to make lemonade out of toilet water. If believing the bolded floats your boat, who am I to stop you from sailing. Good luck with the Hornets and Celtics. The same "intestinal fortitude" will get the Lakers 4 losses in 5 games.

    well see.
would lesser teams such as the Clippers / Kings / Sun / Mavs / Bulls, Warrior, 76ers, Net, TWolves, NYK, NJ, Tor, etc. have won under similar circumstances ?

I actually haven't compared the Lakers to any of those teams. Maybe it's time to start, huh?
