Cause we are only looking at the match ups that matter, the ones that will actually have an impact on the game.
How is Brook vs. Yao interesting? Yao will slaughter him, anything less and it's a bad night for Yao. There's no way a rookie like Lopez should even get 10 pts against Yao and be able to stop Yao at the same time, I don't care how good he is. You're playing against arguably the best center in the game today, Yao will handle him.
well i wasnt talking about the impact of the game...i was talking about the impact of the media and china
Yao vs YI??? more like Yao vs. Brook Lopez LMAOO this will be a good night for scola, you just guard yi loose and help w. harris
lopez is a rookie and yao should easily win the matchup, but he's a very good player. decent post game, good mid-range J, and very good defense. he has a bright future.
It's a big joke! There is far fewer people than the media said play bball in china. At least none people around me care this game!
The Nets' latest loss at home overshadowed a strong outing from rookie center Brook Lopez, who led the team with 22 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots. He's averaging 12.5 points and 8.5 boards in 19 games since getting plugged into the starting lineup Nov. 14. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=281222017 yao needs to come out and come at him hard. a rookie's confidence goes depending on how he plays. don't let him have confidence. with that, its all harris + vince = periemter team and it should be easier.
yea finally ~!~ had my tix for almost a month ~!~ I will be behind the basket row 20, like 10 of us all in that section. I couldn't get any of my Rockets gear cuz i have to rush to work this morning (hate monday) but I will have some signs for Yao, Yi and of course my Rockets. Also my other lucky friends got courtside seats so they will be some nice pictures hopefully.
The Nets’ rookie center from Stanford, Brook Lopez, is probably the kind of big man that most teams would like to have. He is not only young, but also fundamentally sound, and most important of all, he seems to have a good basketball IQ and knows how to play big underneath the basket. So it will be interesting to watch how he plays against Yao the first time they meet in the NBA.
I just hope the rockets don't use alot of energy for this one, Cavs will want to run us out thier building tommorrow night
