I know December numbers is an arbitrary cut-off and doesn't mean much except in POTM voting...which Yao will get votes for at this clip.... but still...go Adelman... check this out ppg = 25.0 rpg = 10.9 fg% = .628 on only 16 shots a game and 33.5 mpg Say what you want about Yao...go ahead.
question mark about RPG? is that correct? But the rest is just Nice and Sweet given the fact that RA is the coach
I would've thought that JVG playing basketball would've netted like -0.5 PPG/0.5 RPG and 3 TOPG...skinny, weak, slow, old... but hey, at least he'd be a character guy!
Still trying to figure out why every team doesn't front Yao. Kings had plenty of big men that could've done it.
do you not remember that Yao scored 25.0 ppg under JVG? We all thought he couldn't do that under Adelman. well...
How can JVG get -0.5ppg? he gets credit for an opponent's technical free throw every two games? How does JVG get 0.5rpg? By once in two games grabbing an opponent's leg to pull down the body plus the ball altogether in order to claim his rebound (pulled down both the guy and the ball)? but wouldn't his on-court screaming of defense make the whole team more earful thus more consistent? Maybe he can still have a positive +/- then.
I didn't miss the joke...I just used the oppurtinity to praise Yao putting up great numbers under both coaches what?
well, the rockets are playing more jvg type inside-outside offense, than motion offense with yao this month. should have done it from the beginning IMO, having yao more than 10 feet away from the basket is pointless.
heypartner, If you have time right now, fire a cilent up, I think there are misunderstandings/lies you should clear it up.
Miller and Hawes just not quick enough to get around Yao when Yao pin them behind. Actually I wonder why teams don't put 6'8 bodies on Yao. Who the most effective defenders against Yao are? If you ask me, Al Harrington, Nejara, Kurt Thomas etc. Shaq, D.Horward, E.Curry, all those 7 footers, they can't guard Yao.
