I guess once in a while, Coach RA thinks that this team should play his offense which put Yao to the high post/shoulder. It takes him another while to realize it's not working then he revert to the inside-out Houston ball.

Anyways, even though we gave up 33 points in the first quarter,we did pretty well on the defensive end in the second half.Good win by Rox

The only thing that ever stops yao is yao. When he's aggressive and decisive, he's a force. When he starts to look around, think and wait, he becomes timid a not as effective. I hope he stays aggressive cause it makes the game easier.

Play smart and be aggressive. Good we could come back from 10-points deficit and not another fall given by the mediocre teams.

Nice to see Yao's dominace and the way he made the opponents change their shots. T-mac played nice as well. I could tell that he did not play his 100% on the court and just simply relied on Yao and others, and yet we still won.

Luis played hustle all night. Got to give the guy credits. Landry grabbed a couple of sensational offensive rebounds. Nice.

And Ron ron, just like his pass to Scola.

Go on to the road trip and be blessed.

    Go Rockets.

Yao was 11-13 for .846 shooting percentage, that's just sick efficiency.

"At the beginning of the season, I tried to get some clean shots, very clean looks," Yao said. "I didn’t want contact. I think this month, or late last month, I started to try to use my body to try to get inside to draw the foul or draw the contact. I tried to use my size to my advantage.

did yao just figure it out this past month? did he just notice he's 7'6 and 310 lbs? :(

but it's never too late. when yao gets that deep of a position, he's unstoppable. :D

Great game by Yao - definitely lead us through the game and gave us the win... fronting never should be a problem for Yao if Tmac is passing him the ball - tmac (and ron hypothetically) should be able to see over their defenders and lob a pass to Yao almost every time... if Yao continues splitting double teams and going at defenders, I guarantee you he will get more calls from the Ref...guys being known as soft or scared of contact rarely get calls.

Guess it was RA used to require Yao to go to high post very often. Obviously he now realizes that it's not working and move Yao back to the low post. SO far so good.

Great game, but I worry about Brooks playing too many minutes.....44 is just too much......

And Luther again proved he can not be on the floor as a PG...EVER.....the first quarter scoring went right down the drain with Luther running the point, and the Kings promptly got up to an 11 point lead.

Also, Artest is good as a 2nd unit player, but he is not dominant enough to carry all second teamers....to be fair to him he needs another starter in there with him to stabalize that unit.

I'd rather had Brooks play 44 minutes than have Rafer Brick for 30 minutes, much less 40+ minutes.

I wouldn't worry about the kid-he's like a little combustion engine than can also go 90 mph. :D

I know your stand about Steve Francis, but if he can recover to 70-80% of his old self, he will be the perfect player to be there with Ron, as either 1 or 2 guard, depending on who's on the floor.
