    I just heard it on ESPN Radio 103.3 Dallas, TX. Said he'll be back after Christmas.

    Hopefully this is true. As much as I want him to win a ring I don't want him to win it with Boston. Hopefully he can win one this year with the Rockets :D

    yep. Not to say I want this. I'd rather have Francis vs Deke, nut if he is done with rehab and still can't play, I think it will be academic. We'd just waive him. We don't even need his OK, just a league doctor to agree.

    I just don't expect Les/Morey to announce a signing of Mutombo without a means to get under the LT already in place. They don't seem to go back on their word wrt to stuff like that.

    Funny he and Doc are friends.

    He also attended a United Nations presentation of a Ben Affleck-directed film about refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He told Affleck that he might be playing in his hometown (Boston). Link

    if we see movements in the next week or so, we then know Deke will be back with us, if not then he's with Celtics.

    If this is true, Yao should know it. Someone should check the Chinese news to see if there is anything over there, hoping that it is going to happen soon. :rolleyes:
