That is what the rockets will have to have in order to increase there win total by one game from last season. I suppose 44-13 would give them 60 wins. Slim margin for error but I think this team is capable of both.
Rockets have always been good enough in the regular season. Post season? Different story. This season will be different though, i think.
i think its obvious how Important it is for the rockets to play the weakest team possible in the first round. Better the record most likely the weaker the team
what i learned from watching the NBA is that you don't win championships in regular season. get to the playoffs as high seed and go get that trophy
if we have a full roster and everyone is at least 80-90% healthy, the Rockets can defeat any team not named the Los Angeles Lakers in a 7 game series, and maye even the Lakers.
your probably right but I still prefer tmac to play the suns mavs or nuggets in the first round then the hornets spurs or jazz. I want him to be able to kill there first oppenent and fly into the next round. We will see
let's just pray that it doesn't come down to luther making his shots, let's hope it doesn't come down to him playing period...
we alredy have 9 looses that would leave us with 4+ and 28- game to go that mean we would have to get 4, 6 game winstreak and we are gettin out of time but if every thing goes wrong i know on should i would blame for HI RICK ADELMAN
yea but a top 3 seed in the playoffs could mean the difference between the second round and a flop. all we gotta do is win the southwest and i think we can do it
Hollinger on ESPN.com projects a 50 win season which seems about right. We're 16-9 (64%) but we've played a soft schedule so 50-32 (61%) seems plausible.
they stumbled out of the gate as usual. then hit some injuries as usual. i predict that they find their stride after new years, or after all star break... as usual... i think that they will earn a record close to, or better than last years. however, lets hope they do not peak during march... as usual. i'm hoping for may and june this year.
i agree. the chance of passing out of the first round is infinitely easier if we play mavs, nuggets, suns, or even portland. so i agree with you. just getting the monkey off our backs can make us more focused and pumped for the next round. then we can take on whoever wherever.
I don't think the Nuggets are a pushover anymore. The Rockets need to secure home court advantage or there is a very good chance they won't make it out of the first round. In a conference with a ton of good teams that are relatively close to one another in terms of talent the regular season does matter because you want that game 7 at home.
