PJ is going to blister the Lakers in the locker room. The Knicks shot horribly from the 3 pt line yesterday and they still were competitive with the Suns, the law of averages says the three should fall tonight so they may win this one.

Playing without Pau tonight hurt them but their defense has clearly dropped off recently. Boston is still the better team right now. I'm not sure where to rank Cleveland among the top tier yet.

Knicks had their chances but they couldn't get any stops near the end. The Lakers have a long way to go. The longer they continue playing like softies the more I think they need to make a trade to add toughness. Even without Pau, they should have spanked the Knicks.

The Lakers are still leading the league in RPG which compensates for some of their defensive deficiencies. No matter how you twist it, if they are healthy come playoffs, they will be dangerous. They may not be as dominant as they looked earlier in the season but a lot can change in either direction (they could get better or worse) during the remainder of the season. If we judged the Rockets by the first 25 games, I think we would all say they have fallen short of expectations, whether that is due to underperformance or injuries or both.

hey... is it too early to worry, man... I mean, men??? Obviously, we get chance to beat them, if our players keep healthy. I trust them anyway....

I have a weakness: playing an actual schedule that includes road games and back-to-backs.

They have a very major one, lack of defensive intensity. They have the talent to play good defense, but they often don't.

I don't agree with this. They're just not good defensively. It's not a matter of effort or intensity. They don't have enough good defensive players. If the Rockets could ever get fully healthy, we would put a serious whoopin on their weak D.
