Paul is himself a small guard. As has been stated, Billups looks like an AB killer. Billups is also old and while he may still have it, his recovery team may be prolonged. All good though if AB + team can contain him
this is how we all envision the big 3 to look (and artest plays great in his first game off the bench). i think we will be fine. tracy remains one of the top 5 most versatile in the L in terms of scoring, rebounding, passing, and defending. hopefully he stays healthy and doesn't get any more injuries. he still has "a lot" left in the tank. just hope he can do it more consistently. yao was great tonight. if he can get deep position like this every game, i don't know how you can stop him from getting his 25ppg. ron is the ron i expect finally tonight: efficient. there's no reason he can't shoot 45% with the attention tracy and yao get. i'm very excited. tracy is not even fully healthy, ron def. is not. and we're still trying to find our ways (our D wasn't as great tonight). once we click, we'll see what this team can really do. go rockets.
what a great gameee..!! yeaaah..! now guys lets dont forget to cheer for the knicks to beat the lakers.. they are up by 6 with 9 mins to go
Great game, but man...Gene Peterson and Jim Foley stole the show. The radio broadcasts haven't been the same without them. Good showings by Yao, McGrady, Artest and Brooks tonight. This team is so well-balanced, and they're just going to get better as they get used to playing with each other. They still have the tendency to fall asleep for stretches of the game, so hopefully they'll iron that out.
Tmac still looked broke down going to the hole and making moves. Those plays don't happen against Cleveland, Lakers, or Boston. Those weekly layups are slapped into the 5th row by Bynum, Garnett, and definitely the truth Lebron. The Nuggets don't play D, don't be fooled by this Triple Double. Trade him now, while his value is going up.
Everyone acting like AB didn't score 20 and hold Chauncey to 8. He made Chauncey play D, which takes away from your O. Give AB some made PROPS for tonights game.
My sarcasm meter is broken. So you serious? This is our time now, the big three is what we got Artest for. Our team is deep enough as it is, we don't need to trade McGrady if he is giving assists and rebounds every night. His role as the facilitator is underrated. This is OUR year, we're not last in our division, or last in the league. We are not desperate yet, we're far from it.
Dude, I'm dead serious. LOL!!! I'm just jaded living in this Calgary cold with no ability to watch the Rockets. Anytime a player gets a Triple D is awesome
A triple D is awesome. You don't see this everyday, whether the team is crap or not. If you think trading McGrady is the way to go, then you don't trust this team. He has been terrific ever since coming back, and I would take this McGrady (not before the rest) anyday.
Great win today, the two best highlights that I loved from tonight: 1. My boy Mcgrady with a triple double 2. Yao getting a facial from Nene, I was LMAO when I saw that! But come to think of it, Yao gets facials from just about everyone in league...
lol watch some of the games where tmac played for orlando and this wont be much of a surprise to you.
What in the world? Go away. Instead of crediting his effort, you're always ranting. Tmac has improved dramatically and he means a lot to this team as hes also the creator.
It seems your issue is Alston getting more credit than he deserves. You can say that about every player on this team though at some point. What is your overall opinion of him? Are we better with him starting at point? Are we better without him at all? He's not great in any single category except for ball handling. But in a few categories, he's the best we have. He's no lockdown defender, but he's the best defensive guard on the team with Strawberry gone. He's not awesome at running the offense, but no one on this roster runs it better than he does. He's a textbook role player. Like we saw today, you can win without him, but it doesn't change that we'll still need him healthy for the playoffs, like we saw last year when we were depleted. I still think the Dallas game was more impressive since we were on a tail end of a back to back, and he was starting that game. Rafer's shooting is important, but I believe he was shooting less than 10 times/game at the beginning of the season, since the Big 3 was all there. As long as he's on the roster, he needs to start. If he comes off the bench, then that means he plays when all Big 3 isn't there, so he's forced to shoot. Bad idea. Let AB come off the bench to give us his quickness and scoring.
What has Yao done to you makes you hate him so much ?! As a fan, I support every player in Rockets uniform and hope them do good. From what you said, you are not a fan of Houston Rockets. BTW, I think if Yao can get facials from you, you will be much happier. But that reality is so cruel that you will never have a freaking chance to do it in your life. Probably you can do it when you are dreaming.
