why not just blame everyone for the lost? it was a team effort, and we had a bad game, don't single out people, that's what I'M SAYING, because blaming yao now, i bet in the next few games ur going to be riding yao's diick so hard!
"We didn’t go to him," Adelman said. "He went out and they checked his eye. But when he came back in, we kept going away from him. It was like we didn’t realize we have a really good option there." Worse, it was not the first time they have seemed to forget. was that really adelman's recap of the game? while it could be true in many games, i don't feel like last night was a strong case for it. to me the problem was more on the defensive side. as hot as randolf was, we never doubled him. and shane got killed by thornton.
Unlike most people here, I don't turn on our players after losses. My comments were meant to imply that easy shots in general just weren't falling for the entire game. Your life must be stressfull if you are this defensive all the time.
so not true. without Rafer, we wouldn't have won 7 of the past 11 games. he's played really well as of late. you could pick out 1 or 2 bad plays for any player during almost any given game.
this is where you're wrong. rebounding is about doing a better job. just because a guy has 3 or 4 inches on you doesn't mean you can't out-rebound him. it's about blockin out and then pursuing the ball. right now when the ball goes up most of our guys just jump in the air instead of puttin a body of somebody first. that's the problem not our size. if size was the number 1 key to rebounding, then yao would average at least 15 rpg.
Scola is our best rebounder by effort and blocking out. Landry is our best offensive rebounder. Yao should be the best at both. DD
Yao had a decent performance on rebounding. His 48MINS boards is almost the highest in his career. MPG RPG 48MINS Landry 21.2 5.3 12 Scola 27.1 7.7 13.6 Yao 33.7 10.0 14.2 Landry's offensive boards declined obviously in the new season. MPG OFF DEF RPG 2007~2008 16.9 2.3 2.6 4.9 2008~2009 21.2 2.0 3.3 5.3
