4chuckie- so, Francis hasn't helped his teammates play better. Didn't help Bullard get tons of open threes. Didn't feed Cato all the dunks and alley oops his heart desires. Didn't get Wizard open jumpers. Didn't get Thomas open layups under the basket. When Francis was player of the week back in January dishing over 10 assists a game and scoring 25 points a game, the team was winning. Winning important games. Winning because of Francis, because he made all the players around him better. I'm confident he will return to those numbers when he and Rudy find ways to deal with the traps and early doubles he's encountered since then. ------------------
This is a great first year, but not a great year in the vital PG ratio-turnovers to assists. His ratio is abysmal. Now, I know he didn't play the point at Maryland, so if he had began the year poorly in thid department and improved, I would understand. Instead, he's getting worse about turning the ball over, and he's getting fewer assists. Francis is a 2, like Iverson. Anyone feel like trading Cat for Brevin Knight ? ------------------

4chuck, dont forget this is the great pgs 1st year. There arent many great pgs that came out of the block having great years, especiaaly with the lack of talent on the team that Francis has. If the Rocks had had a healthy Bark and Hak for this year and the Rocks would have had the same record, maybe iD be inclined to believe with you. How many great pgs have one without hardly any other talent on their team? How many have done great things without hardly any interior post play? Having Francis responsible for all of the the team's stats is ridiculous, especially at this point in his career. ------------------ Wiz 3:16 says Walt is da man!!!
4CHUCK, My criticisms differ from yours in that I never made a blanket statement in the first place. The statements that I did make I backed up, can you read or what did you not see "here's my line of reasoning" and the fact stated there under. By the way, following your line of reasoning niether Payton nor Marbury are great point gaurds. Who have they made better on their respective teams, and yet they still win.
