Damn, I fell asleep on the couch watching Tiger stuff and woke up hearing Tiger stuff...I say Tiger wins by more than a few strokes.

Other front runners, Olazabal, Goosen...all of which I have on my fantasy golf team and are doing real good so far!:D

Has anyone here actually gone to the Masters to watch? I'll bet its really nice and the hamburgers are really expensive!

What I think is funny is how they lenghtened the course to make it 'Tiger proof". How stupid! If Tiger has tamed the course by being the longest hitter, then making the course longer will only give long hitters a bigger advantage!! They should have made it shorter, so that average players could compete with Tiger and take away the long hitter's advantage.

Did you see the ceremonial tee shot?

Each year at the Masters, they pick one old-time golf legend and let him hit a ceremonial tee shot off the first tee before the tournament begins.

This year, they chose Sam Snead, who is 89 years old and has just recovered from a stroke.

They teed the ball up for him, he got into his stance and addressed the ball, he hit the ball, and shanked it. The ball wound up hitting a spectator in the face, breaking his eyeglasses and giving him a medium sized cut on his nose.

When asked about the tee shot, Snead said "I got it off the ground".

    Freaking hilarious!

DM, have you ever even played a full round of golf?

If you haven't, you should give it a try.

I think Woods, Garcia, and Singh all have a good chance to win this thing. Love III has started hot, so he of course has a chance.

I would also watch Mickelson, he has had a rough time of late, he could break out of the slump at Augusta.

It's hard to explain the allure of golf if you've never tried it, but once you hit your first good shot, you'll understand.

It's also just a lot of fun to walk around in a park with people for 4-5 hours, chasing after your ball.

Vijay Singh shot a 7 under par 65 on Friday. He's going to be tough to beat! I just hope Goosen, Mickelson and others have the cajones (and talent) to hunt down the Fijian and win the green jacket. It's going to be an exciting weekend!

Yeah, I think Tiger needs to finish up his second round tomorrow with at least 3 birdies, or things will be tough for him the rest of the weekend. Shoot, Vijay only made one birdie on the front 9 today before he caught fire on the back 9.:)
I wanna see Tiger win again, Olazabal would be cool, maybe even Goosen. Garcia too maybe. I thought Davis Love III would be up there but that was a fluke. I don't wanna see Mickelson win though.

    Leaderboard through 18 holes:

    Singh (9 under)
    Goosen (8 under)
    Els (7 under)

Definately a Presidents Cup caliber leaderboard!
