    Does anyone play NBA 2K2?

    Anyone play NBA 2K2?

I'm playing with the Celtics now...

I traded Kenny Anderson, E. Strickland, T. Battie and 2 first rounders to the Rockets for Steve Francis.

    My lineup of

    S. Francis
    J. Forte
    P. Pierce
    A. Walker
    V. Potapenko

    This line-up seems invincible.

O by the way, they made Eddie Griffin really good in the game (can rebound, block shots, hit three's).

I know this topic strays, but its not like the Rockets are going anywhere soon...sorry.

I'm currently 56-1 on all-star level with a starting lineup of Francis, Mobley, Rice, Griffin, and Cato. I have won 49 straight games. The one loss came when I got bored, and deliberately got the other team 12 quick points in one minute to tie the game and make the final seconds interesting.

Francis averages 28 points, 17.5 assists, and 5 steals.

Damn ZRB, how in the hell did you get that good? I thought the pro level was hard. I am 8-3 right now with Francis, Mobley, Williams, Taylor and Cato. I put Walt at the 3 because Rice is pathetic on my game, he cant make any 3's.

There is no better basketball game out there that can compete with NBA 2K2.

I'm 39-1 with the Rockets on All-Star. They need a higher level for that game.

Thinking about buying and NBA game for either the xbox or playstation. Which do you guys prefer, NBA 2k2 or NBA Live 02?
    [more realistic]

I think that NBA 2K2 has the best visuals and gameplay of any game out there. Live was ok, but I wasn't that impressed.

If you like to play in the franchise mode, 2K2 has an excellent one. And plus, Eddie Griffin is a bad ass on 2K2.

i unfortunatley own live 02... for regular playstation.for the psx it is EXACTLY THE SAME THING as last year. no diffrence. even the music is the same. i have played both 2k2 and live 02 for ps2 tho and 2k2 is better. the best part about live is that francis is on the cover and they made him really good.

It's just too easy to score, and to steal the ball. The opposing artificial intelligence is pathetic. I'll leave guys like Reggie Miller and Ray Allen wide open for three, and they just stand there. Eventually, they drive to the hoop, but they rarely take the open shots I give them. As for the Rockets, I have them shooting 73 percent for the season.

All three installments in the series have been ridiculously easy. It's really such a shame, since the visuals are excellent.

I love NBA2k2. I have the game but I'm waiting for my girlfriends dreamcast to arrive so I can play it. When I do play it. I will be the Rockets and my lineup will be:

    PG: Steve Francis
    SG: Cuttino Mobley
    SF: Dan Langhi
    PF: Kenny Thomas
    C: Maurice Taylor

And I will play on All-Star difficulty... don't want to have a 5 star lineup to dominate... you want it to be challenging alittle bit.

What I do is full court press. It's so easy to deflect the passes. What's worst is when my opponent inbounds the ball, then the PG or SG passes the ball back to the inbounds guy, who's still standing out of bounds.

I have it on the XBOX. It is awesome. The replays are the best.
I've got Wang Zi Zi and Dream on my team.
