started out good and then fell hard.. with some random spikes of funny. the funniest part being the Spoiler black doll WOW hilarious.. (toby's reaction)
Hey, so I missed a small chunk towards the end. I got back to it when Andy came out and started playing Christmas music to Angela, and everyone just had this horrified look on their faces. I assumed it was because they found out she was cheating, but I'm not sure that's what it was. Can someone spoiler tag it for me and let me know what happened??
Episode of the year for me. Lots of good laughs (The black doll was the best played joke in a long time) and no slow parts. The show kept on moving at a good pace, constantly throwing jokes at us. The Christmas party eps always deliver.
maybe i didn't deliver my point well enough. i thought it started out well and really fell off and wasn't funny overall. Just had a few moments here and there, but overall not funny. Just really liked the Darryl/Toby doll interaction..
In case you don't get around to watching it on nbc.com or hulu: Spoiler Phyllis tells Angela to put the Christmas tree back up. Angela tells her that she's through with fulfilling her demands and that if she rats her out, she won't get to be head of the party committee anymore. Phyllis reluctantly agrees, takes a couple of steps towards the front door, turns around and tells everyone that she caught Angela and Dwight having sex after Toby's Goodbye Party. Everyone is shocked and gets quiet. Dwight then says, "Don't act like you're all surprised" and smirks like an idiot.

I liked this episode. The beginning was easily one of the best. I wasn't big on the intervention aspect though.
The way Andy does his singing with the "Rudd dudd dudd" sounds makes me LOL. Great episode, and I liked Dwight's "What, did this take you 3 hours" line better than the prank itself (although it cracked me up). Just nice to see someone else noticing what an absurd amount of time these pointless 2 second payoffs must take...
the line about it being better than the one he wanted was awesome. "do you take requests" "yeah" "please stop, we're trying to have a christmas party"
