Who are we electing to the State Board of Education?

    Just one more in a long line of lunatics deciding policy for our state's public education. When will we wake up and see how we're sabatoging our future by electing these theocrats?

    I can't even stomach reading the idiocy involved.

    I voted for Laura Ewing, who lost to David Bradley.

    Bradley:

    1) has called teaching thinking skills "gobbledygook."

    2) opposed advanced technology courses

    3) repeatedly expressed disdain for teachers

    4) distrusts the theory of evolution

    5) has his own children home-schooled


    Read up on it if you want to get angry. Forgive me if I find paying for private education a worthwhile investment.

    If more people like that are in charge pretty soon the US will be like Iran and other extreme moslim nations.

    This is a very real possibility. After all, the Islamic world was once the leader many areas of scientific thought.
