    Obama's Support for Ethics Bill Had Role in Governor's Fall

    To be fair Blago would probably have fallen regardless of Obama's support for this bill and his efforts to get it past his veto but I did not know that he was still taking a role in IL politics (on the correct side) even in the presidential campaign.

    Barack Obama really is an amazing politician. It's amazing how he emerged out of that corrupt mess that is Illinois completely unscathed.

    I think if he avoids corruption that is a definite positive that he has going for him. I also think that despite the news headlines there are people in politics and even Illinois politics that are in it to actually serve, and do what they believe will benefit people.
