....And the Yankees will still lose because A-rod won't shown up and CC will choke come playoff time.

Add C.C. to my hated list. I really cant blame him for taking the money, I know I would. But If you play for the Yankees, you are dead to me.

True dat, with one exception: Mariano Rivera. I like him A LOT.

Now I hope Sabbathia is the biggest free-agent bust in baseball history.

Now let's hope AJ Burnett goes to the Braves so the 'Stros can trade for Peavy :p

Peavy isnt coming to The Braves. Towers (Padres GM) really pissed off Frank Wren (Braves GM) for using them to try and drive up the asking price from the Cubs. If the Astros want him, the Braves arent the obstacle.

Let's see how CC pitches when it's not a contract season...and he's already been paid.

Great, great news. There had been some talk in recent days that the Brewers might have a good shot at keeping him -- glad to hear that's not the case.

    Winner's Curse.

Those #'s come out to roughly $750k per start, or $100k per inning. That is downright obscene. I hope they get beat down by the Rays again.

Glad he's leaving the NL, ESPECIALLY glad he's leaving the NL Central. So now that C.C. is officially gone, and Sheets will probably be gone, the Brewers can go back to their spot in the cellar?

    Best Regards,

edit: I couldn't find a picture of Kevin Brown "happy" after all of his millions, my apologies to everyone in advance.

That is exactly what I am thinking.

Yankees overpaid another player. What a shocker.

Maybe it's just me, but with the exception of King Fat Ass (Mo Vaughn). High dollar pitchers seem to break down more than high dollar hitters. Why is this? Pitchers throw upwards of 170-200 innings sometimes, and hitters play virtually 145-150 games a year if they are healthy, but they play for all 9 innings.

I come seeking knowledge fellow baseball fans.
