We got some here in Nacogdoches, and they predict some more later in the day towards the evening. Speaking of cold, I'm headed to Canada for snowboarding on Saturday. It's going to be a high of 3.2*F on Sunday!!!
There was apparently a trace of snow last night in the Dallas area, but not much. It's 28 right now. I prefer the 30-degree weather in winter. But the temps are going to climb back up into the 60's by the weekend again, I think - that sucks.
Good, so I can have my skin to be thick by time I go to Colorado in a couple of weeks!! I wonder if it's gonna snow this year...was the last time in 2004 or 2005 on a Christmas eve?
You are one lucky b*stard... Whistler is Canada's greatest gift- not that they have many to compare to...
haha- not a bad move. have you been to banff? there are several amazing spots on the way to/from calgary.
To me, Banff/Calgary looks like some towns that were probably really cool in the late 80s and 90s after they had the winter olympics. Vancouver/Whistler just seems more up to date with more stuff going on. Not to diss Calgary though, for anyone thats been to Lake Louise you are prepared to die happy and full-filled.
Have you been? I went several years ago and it was made of awesome. I was a skiing novice then, but really had a great time. Oh man, I'm sure I don't want to keep score. Let's call it even, chevere?
Flying into Kelowna, then by van/bus from the silverstar resort. Can't wait. Funny that it's snowing here in tx, right before I go snowboarding. Thankgod for their recent snowfall, i was worried they wouldn't be open.
on Ch 13 news website, it says they are getting reports of snow around houston area...are you one of them??? i don't see anything at my job.
