Mind you this is an open poll. [Edit: NVM, I think I forgot to turn on the open poll option.]

Just want to see how popular Wafer has become.

I will keep Landry due to his rebound (when he really plays aggressively).

A few good games and you think he's more liked than Carl? He has been impressive so far, I'll give him that. The way he cuts to the basket, I wish Tracy could do that.

I bet if you wanted to know whos more liked between Wafer or Head, it would be be Wafer by a landslide.

Without question, Landry. Dude was huge in the playoffs last year and he is the perfect compliment to Scola. Scolandry = untouchable

why is this a question? different positions, and neither is in danger of being cut or traded.

I expect more indepth views. Obviously their skill sets are different. Wafer can drive to the basket and shoot 3s. Landry is better at rebounding and effective when he is close to the basket. So what is more needed for our team right now?

wafer needs to work on his j and his decision making, but i absolutely love his ability to get to the rim and finish... he's definitely proving to be a very serviceable back up to mcgrady

Not in a million years. I mean Von is good and all, but TMac IS a special talent. Von will be good in his own right tho, he has a lot of upside, but Tmac is a elite player in this league. And it is showing in his absence.

TMac is Iron Pyrate, a great talent, but not a leader of men. He may go down as one of the most dissappointing talented players of all time.

As for the thread.....keep em both or trade em for something more valuable, neither of them will make or break the team.

I love being the sole PeeZocker in this pole.

Too bad I cannot tell from the results why people choose Landry.

Is it due to his upside? Is it because the skill set Landry possessed is much needed for this team?

I thought a 3pt shooter and decent dribbler will fit more in the Adelman system?

It's because he is a much better player.

If you watch every rocket game from last year, Landry is a much better player than Wafer overall. As for the upside, I think Landry could be better than Scola in some days and Wafer is just a player who can come from the bench to score some points.

Yes, Obviously their skill sets are different, they play different positions and one is a guard, the other a forward.

Yes, Wafer can drive and shoot he 3, he's a guard.
Yes, Landry is a better rebounder and effective close to the basket, he's a forward.

So what is more needed with our team right now? Well since Tracy is out I'd say Wafer since he's been filling in for Mac quiet nicely. But, it's hard to take away your back up forward who's playing great, because your starting guard is out. Is there not enough roster spots right now?

The better question should have been:
    Wafer or Luther

Hello, my name is Carl Landry, and I still have the 35th highest PER in all of NBA. (Oh yeah I have the 15th highest true shooting percentage in the NBA)

Right now we need both. They are the most athletic guys this team has.
