Yao Ming is not our leader. McGrady would of not let this happen or maybe even Ron Artest. Get well soon to both of them PLEASE.

Yeah because Tracy Brickady is a natural born leader.. Especially since he gets the team deep into the playoffs.

He's not a perfect leader but he is better than Yao in this department. The Rockets have been consistent 50+ win teams with Yao out the majority of the season the past 3 years. A lot of that credit goes to McGrady. If only it carried into the playoffs.

it's sad they were really on a roll, but taking out artest clearly destroyed the little chemistry they have accumulated, leading to tonight's disaster.

yao just plain sucked toight. Hopefully we won't see more of this (we ve seen enough of his ****ty games this season already).

Dude why are you even saying something like that. You are just asking people to rag on McGrady...

We might have lost the game if Tracy McGrady played. No one on this team has gotten anywhere individually and they never will. This is a team effort. Yao AND T-Mac are both leaders.

EDIT: Forget it. Why do I even bother...

The Rockets don't have a leader. We have 3 really talented players, but neither Yao, McGrady, or Artest are leaders. It's really frustrating.

This team is too lazy. They don't play hard night in and night out. Injuries isn't an excuse for playing like they don't care.

Look at the Celtics or Lakers or a few other teams. Those teams play hard more often than not. That isn't the case with the Rockets. They just don't seem to care a lot of the time which is a major reason why we play down to our competition.

Cant believe you blame a game loss on one person and yet you just jumped out of grave to scare people by your ignorance. probably you may be judged by Your Name.

We need three of them in the playoffs, not one or two.

Here we go with fans trying to pit our own players vs one another. How about Memphis just played well and we are injured to ****? Isn't that explination enough?

i didn' watch the game, but if Yao went 4 of 8 with 4 rebounds...i don't think that's playing horribly, he didn't play well, but its not horrible. Normally i'd think the others didn't get him involved, but with only 4 boards it means he himself wasn't assertive enough.

kingk0ng has no maturity. I bet he was rooting against Yao the whole second half just so he could bash another rockets fan who happened to be more optimistic. Get a frigging life...

And the OP is just trying to get flamed. Not many people would consider TMac a team leader. Laugh at me if you want, but Artest and Battier will be our leaders when they both become healthy.

this game was just ****in stupid and horrible.
tracy has always been our leader. our record even
shows we play better with just tmac and no yao
rather than the other way around. but the offense
runs around yao. im tired of all these ppl raggin
on mcgrady. hes our best player.

One thing I don't understand is why Yao moves directly under the basket to rebound the ball. Yao needs to realize that the ball doesn't bounce straight down when it misses. That's basic rebounding 101.

right now the "leader" is not even playing because too much pain to his knee. oohhh, i'm in pain. even though the doctors says he can and should play in order to rehab. yeah, great leadership - by sitting out on a self-approved and paid leave.
