Anyone else seen this? I caught it Friday and thought it was one of the best and most original horror films in years (actually, it's just a great film period). It's currently playing at the Angelika in downtown, so I would highly recommend seeing it before it's gone. For those who are interested in a synopsis, go to the film's website. However, the less you know about it, the more you'll enjoy the movie.
So I saw it tonight based on this recommendation. One question though Spoiler Who was the man taking care of Eli at the beginning? Was he really her father or was he the Osckar before this Osckar?
Saw it last week. Good acting. Great directing. The camera framing and settings were spectacular. Reminded me of Fargo. The blood scenes will make you squeamish. That took creepy to a new level.
