I agree it's out of line to predict it, but I wouldn't rule it out either. Good for Missouri closing the gap to 10-7.
Absolutely no pressure on Bradford. Good coverage doesn't mean jack when the QB has all day to throw. Somebody's going to come open eventually.
Florida vs. Oklahoma in the National Championship. Should be a good game. I wish the Longhorns would get a shot, but it'll still be a good one.
Have you watched Oklahoma for the last month and change? There is no way anybody could say they would get blownout given what they've done unless your a UT homer. Their offense can put points up on anybody.
That "but.. but.. we're texas" sign was very classless. I can't stand idiots that don't understand karma.
That remains to be seen. Tulsa had an impressive offense and got shut down by an SEC Defense this season, and historically the Sooners "O" vs SEC D's has been less than impressive. Southern Cal has played the SEC much much better than OU has. The biggest intangible though is the fact that Bob Stoops teams have been anything but clutch. They've re written the book on how to choke away big games.. Whereas SEC teams have been impressive in big games.
This game is going to be a huge blowout. For as good as the Big12 South is, the Big 12 North is an absolute joke.
Classlees? You mean like flying a 45-35 banner over the OU/OSU game? I thought it was hilariouis. Anyone know where I can order it?
I don't care what UT does. As an OU fan, I'd like us to show some class and be above such dumb practices.
mizzou should retire from D-1 football until they're ready to come back and play big boy football. 35-3 and 38-7 at the half against Texas and ou. ou about to get their 5th straight 60+ point game.
OU is very impressive. This a pretty good mizzou team and its a pretty much a home game yet the game is all but over at half time. What an offense....
I fixed that for you. I'm a fan of championship games that mean something. Not a game that you know, going into it, that one team will absolutely blow out the other team. There were about four Big12 South games this year that got more attention and hype (deservedly so) than this one. That's not right.
pretty good mizzou team? they've lost to all 3 good teams they've played, lost to kansas, and been absolutely clobbered against the 2 elite teams they've played. can they just forfeit and spare us all the 2nd half? brent having to beg the studio crew to take it away b/c he couldn't stand it any more.
This is a different team. They've destroyed the #2 team. Beat OSU on the road rather comfortably and now they are destroying Mizzou in a championship game Tulsa plays in Oklahoma and thats where the comparsion pretty much stops.
