If T-Mac is going to be HOF, then Vince is too. That's how I see it.

Of course if your Houston you make that trade but only because Harris is so much greater than Rafer.

I don't think T-mac will get in, unless he somehow becomes healthy again.

Are people here serious? If Tmac deserves to be in the HOF regardless of rings, just stats, so does Vince.

The guy brought excitement in the NBA constantly in his prime.

Tmac is a 2 time scoring champion. Are there any scoring champions not in the HOF? Probably just Bernard King. But Shouldn't he be in by now?

I think he will, but he almost definitely won't be a first ballot HOFer. I consider him the best dunker of all time, and he brought excitement to the league during a time when it was getting boring. As it stands right now, he's more deserving than Tracy.

Don't forget he won a gold medal and made France look silly in the process.

Why do you have to throw in Rafer and Harris? That makes the whole trade pointless. The question should be would you trade TMac for Carter and that is a seriously tough question. I probably wouldn't do it though.

As far as Carter for HOF, it's borderline but maybe after a few years on the ballot he'll squeeze in there.

The dunk on Weis alone is HOF worthy.

The Nets would laugh in our faces. They've been the best backcourt in the league up to this point in the season.
    Is this a joke?

The time he needed to get into the Hall was about as long as the time he needed to shoot a free throw. :D

Probably. That makes sense because people pick Yi for HOF not to mention Vince.

Entertainment factor plays big role, sure.

If Yao and T-Mac are going to be in the HOF which they probably are, Carter is going to be in too. Superstar Multiple champions aren't the only ones who make it to HOF, at this moment in his career, VC is just as good as T-mac. What is VC lacking that T-mac has? VC has health, he has three point range and a J, he has finishing ability at the rim, he has vision, and he's a good defender. Must we fans always have to be so blinded that we cannot acknowledge talent because we hate other teams and other players such as Dirk or Boozer or Ginobili.

Dantley took so long, I think, because he wasn't very popular when he was playing. Let's face it he was a boring player--post-up, drop-step, get to the line--but he scored with frightening efficiency. Supposedly many didn't like him personally.

Carter is not a boring player but, if there was a God, he would be playing in the NBDL right now. I've never seen a player do what he did: that is, deliberately play badly (with the Raptors) in an effort to get back at his coach and organization. That man has a magazine rack of issues.
