I'm all about this one too. I'm agnostic but I really enjoy learning the histroy behind the Christian faith.

I also have an unhealthy interest in anything from ancient Egypt. I just about came in my panties when we went to the Egyptian wing of the Louvre.

Good call!! I dig that ancient Egypt stuff, too. Actually, anything to do with ancient civilizations and technologies.

Also: world mysteries. Great stuff there.

-Hurricanes...I always follow them but I do not want one coming here, that's for sure. I've already experienced 2 hurricanes.
-Criminal stuff... I like watching CSI series and any true story shows about criminals such as 20/20 and Dateline. It's really interesting what drives a person to commit crimes.
-Astrology...I used to be a big buff but not that much anymore...I still believe that astrology plays a part in our lives. I.E. I don't think I want to be a housewife when my husband is making all the money because Capricorns care a great deal about money/power.
-Supernatural stuff such as ghosts, demons & spirits
-World/National News...I gotta know what's going on in the world
-I love watching Discovery Health especially Mystery Diagnosis.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I am still TOTALLY OBSESSED with everything Enron.

I’ve read about 5 different books on the scandal – 2 of them twice. I own The Smartest Guys in the Room DVD and watch it all the time. I know all the names and players. I’ve driven by and peered at Jeff Skillings house, Andrew Fastows house, Rich Kinders house, and of course you can see Lays 33rd floor penthouse at The Huntington from anywhere inside the loop. Any time my band plays downtown, I’ll get there early so I can walk over to 1400 Smith and peek into the windows. Last time we played in Sugarland, I drove by the spot where Cliff Baxter killed himself.

    Is that odd?

Oh, and I also LOVE everything Star Wars…

Chess.. for some reason I find it interesting how one move can really change the game.

I also enjoy reading about Psychology and observing people on why people think the way they do.

Figure skating. I'm rooting for Nobunari Oda to win it all this year... (and you're like, who?)

Harry Potter. My fiance is afraid to bring up the subject because it will get me started.

The history of how a place changes with time, meaning relatively short timespans. I think it's cool to see a picture of a street in my town in, say, 1980 and now, and what's different.

All recent nostalgia. (stuff I can remember especially, but I'm willing to go a few decades before that to stuff my parents knew) Looking at random pictures, or even movies, from the 80's and seeing how the cars, fashions, hairstyles, etc. have changed.

People's different life experiences within the U.S. - rural or urban, rich or poor, different part of the country, etc. What's here and now in this country, but how different things can still be.

Playing or singing classical music. I don't listen to that much of it, but I'll join pretty much any band, choir, or orchestra that has room for me and fits in my schedule. I like being one of those people dressed in black up on the big stage. That is my natural environment, whereas I would feel out of my element playing at a bar.

Im obsessed with watching home improvement projects and remodel and redesign. My main tv stations I catch myself watching are HGTV and DIY. I have no idea why im interested cause I have neither the tools or know how to do any type of remodel project, but I find them very interesting. Just all the detail and work and processes that go into just cutting and measuring lumber, laying tile, paint schemes, and overall carpentry and masonry.

Fascinated by large abandoned structures like old missile silos, submarine bays, abandoned subway stations, etc.

Something about lost civilization or something.

Also, I'm simultaneously fascinated with and really freaked out by sunken ships. The Titanic is ultimate example of this. The footage, photos of the wreckage creeps me out but I can't stop looking at it. Maybe I died in a shipwreck in a past life.

    Think I've developed an OCD.....

I tend to look in people's shopping carts at the grocery store to
see if they really are what they eat.

    most time...it holds true.

    Gardening- what old people do

I've got a movie for you to watch. Go to www.crunchyroll.com in the search on the website type " the chaser "

    Here's a preview www.youtube.com/watch?v=0obDVN36HDU

Pretty spot on review from Twitch......

For the last few years I have been openly condemning the Korean film market. The films have become flat and a huge money loser for their production companies. I was prepared to watch the latest, so called hit, The Chaser and then do my usual complaints about Korean films. The only problem is that this film is not a bad film, its actually a great film.

The plot of the story was actually original. It tells of an ex-police officer, who has become a pimp. He keeps losing his girls and is not sure why. Its a busy night and he sends one of his girls to a nice house with a nice man. The pimp then realizes that he sent another girl to this # and she is now missing also. The cat and mouse game now begins between Eom Joong-ho (The pimp) and Ji Yeong-min,(the serial killer).

The story has a lot of twist and turns and it showcases the acting ability of the pimp, Kim_Yoon-Seok. What I really liked about the film was that it shows the insignificance and the inefficiency of the Korean Police and how the public and the people who depend of the police to protect them are being short changed.

I am trying to keep this film as spoiler free as possible because you will want to see each turn and be surprised by it.

The film last shot was well worth the ticket that I paid to see it. Please see it when you can.

    Grade A+
