I'm going to trust the opinion of a doctor here. If it turns out the doc is wrong and its going to **** his knee up more, his reputation is ruined. So I don't think the doc is going to give him advice that would be bad for Tmac. Having said that, this thread is completely r****ded. Why should Tmac listen to us? If he saw the things you guys post about him every game, he would beg to be traded himself. When he plays through the injury and has bad games you scream to trade him, but when he decides he wants to rest it you guys say he is a wuss and you want him to play through the injury. No matter what, you hate the guy, despite the fact that at the end of the season he always ends up being the best player on our team despite where he started the season. No matter what he does, its not good enough. Meanwhile you have idiots sitting behind a computer thinking they know what they are talking about.
T-mac did play with a sore knee earlier this season. Last season T-mac played on a bum knee and hurt shoulder. For most of his career he played with a bad back. So what is all this talk about T-mac not being able to play through certain injuries?
Because his knee is only sore and not actually hurt. Ummm, he had anthroscopic knee surgery, not MICROSCOPIC knee surgery. You do know the difference right?
We're being a little short-sighted here. He's taking time off now to improve his chances of being healthy for the playoff run. Basketball players are paid to contribute to winning championships, not to show up and play every game and ignore injuries. This team wants to win, and if that means Tmac resting and rehabbing his injuries for the benefit of his health during playoff time, then that is what's going to happen. Shut up and cheer for the team.
Wow thats all I can say Wow. From the posts Ive seen, the majority of you imbeciles probably don't even watch the freakin games. Do you guys actually think the Rockets can go anywhere without Tmac? Who on the Rockets gets the others involved, draw doubles, and mainly open up Yao's game? Has Yao actually had a good game with Tracy? If Tracy supposedly was out for the season could Yao and Artest lead us to the playoffs? Some of you guys need your brain checked because last I heard Tmac is the engine of this team. Without him we are lottery bound. Its only 3 ****ing weeks against ****ty ass teams. If we can't beat some of these teams with our current roster without Tmac, blame the players for not living up their expectations. This team is a title contender. If a player needs time to sit out they should step up and respond. To me it only seems as Tracy is the one who steps up when March looms around with an unexpected season ending injury from our big man. The first thing some of you so called fans need is xrays for your brain to see if you are suffering from acute paranoia. Lets say Yao is out for 3 weeks. Will this board come up with inappropriate names to call him? Are most of the users on this site in the ****ing 3rd grade? Coming up with absurd and vulgar names to our star player. We fans need to support our team and players not subject them to stupidity. You guys all hide behind your monitors posting garbage about how "this guy sucks or he should be traded or were done" Grow up because honestly some of you fans need a good beating because you don't deserve to be Rockets fans. I swear if we win a championship and all is well on this forum I will ****ing explode. Have some of you guys ever heard of a thing called patience? God damn it seems there are only a few on this site that are actually sane. Take your frustrations somewhere else. Because the Rockets and McGrady could care less what you think, because they know once they start winning you will all come back running like the insensitive ****s that you are.
Considering how good the West is and how past playoff appearances have gone, the last thing you wanna do is settle for a lower seeding to prepare for the playoffs... because that only leads to another first round exit or even...gasp potentially missing the playoffs
Yeah, because everybody is the same. Out bodies are identical and recover from injuries at the same pace. Get over yourself.
Like I said before, TRADE THAT ****. Houston isnt getting far with this player. The season just started and he is already 1 month out, screw this. Thanks.
Did you expect him to play 82 games? We got Artest because we knew his body wasn't going to hold up. SO he takes a month of now, instead of a month and a half in March.
Which is fine because we were never going to trade him. You don't just trade superstars willy nilly when you are attempting to make a title run. People seem to forget that every season Tmac starts off slow, then gets injured. The rest of the team gels. Then he comes back and averages 25 a game for the rest of the season and is the best player on our team in the playoffs. Its like every season its "oh, Tmac sucks, trade him" and then when he gets better after the All-star break you guys jump back on his nuts.
Did he call in...or was he called by 790? If he called in by himself....let me add this: My dad is a doctor and three of my brother's are. My oldest brother does the talk show call-in thing regarding politics. He might mention he's a doctor in terms of addressing health care legislation...but I can say none of the four would call in about an sports injury to someone on the team they like...like TMacs injury. They love sports and they've had plenty of opportunity to make such a call in, but don't. So, I can only assume the doctor who made that call in is either not a doctor (a liar) or has an agenda that most all doctors try to avoid, because fundamentally, reputable doctors do NOT EVER make a prognosis on no information other than the media.
missing the playoffs? yao and artest must be mediocre players then. this team is still talented without tracy. it's time for them to step up. it's time for yao to lead this team like tracy had been the past few years when he was out. yao needs to make himself an MVP candidate now like tracy always does when yao goes out. yao needs to make himself the face of this team as this is the perfect opportunity
