Really I think we need to package Keith Jones along with Kenny Thomas, Cato and Francis in order to get a better trainer for next year, because he has been the sole reason the Rockets suck this year period. Keith Jones has let us down with injury after injury. Come on Keith..... when is it going to stop?? It started with Mo Taylor out for the season. Then Rice went down. Next thing you know it, Francis has migranes and foot problems. And what is up with Cato's boo boo on his wrist?? In order to build a championship team we need a championship trainer. Keith Jones is not the answer, and a sorry excuse for a trainer.
By the way, who coordinates his wardrobe for games, Garanimals? My boy looks like he's been in a fast food fight that lasted all night. In addition, please refrain from stopping Rudy, when he pretends to get upset with a call. He just pushes you into the cheap seats, you look silly.
Keith is regarded as one of the best trainers in the league. It is not his fault Mo hurt himself in a pick up, Rice with his knee and foot, and Steve with his headaches. So don't blame him.
Keith is cool. I like his clothes. And besides, if you are going to have a Mr. Mean, then you need a Mr. Nice to offset things. btw: what did you all think about Boylen doing the Van Gundy thing when Shareef (that p***y) was running away from the Raging Bull. Oh, and wasn't Mr. Mean a one man scrum trying to force the whole pack including Shareef (that p***y) back into his Raging Bull forward. You just got to know that Mr. Mean loves Kenny.
Is there another trainer out there who can wear those glasses and still be cool? I think not, Keith stays.
How much of our injuries could have been prevented by a good conditioning program? Or how about wearing proper footwear? What about the type of drills run in preseason? How many injuries could be prevented by implementing a rigid offseason program? Why is it certain teams seem to consistently have more injuries than others? I do think this is something the Rockets should look into. Since 94 the Rockets have consistently had more player injuries than the league average. Here is a link to a thread I started back in October covering this issue. The graphs don't work anymore, but you can still get an idea from the numbers. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23197 B
Mo went down in a pickup game in Michigan while working out privately. Rice had pre-existing injuries and did not really "go down" after 20 games, he instead merely succumbed to his lingering ailments. Steve's migranes are another story. His feet do suck, though. Drew, I am pretty sure you were just kidding with this, but thought I would quash it anyway...just in case you give some of the slower ones ideas. Maybe Keith is designing all of these bad plays, though. He is always in the huddle with the coaches.
All these injuries started to occur after a woman was handed the power as head trainer. Coincidence? Huh? Right? I think not. *obligatory, monthly mysoginist rant*....
Duh Of course I was kidding. I am trying to make some of you jokers laugh in the midst of the most depressing season ever. Glad everyone took me so seriously......
I agree with Oski...there is NO ONE in the world that can get by with those glasses like KJ does. NO ONE.
