He has looked great and awful......but he shows promise.

And he is by far the best athlete on the team.

They won't move him unless he's essential to complete a trade.

    Really don't know.
I don't understand why he's facing that problem, frankly.

    TMac - Hurt
    Battier - Hurt
    Artest - Sucking
    Barry - Hurt & Sucking
    Head - Head

Why can't Wafer get some PT?

I like Von Wafer, personally I like him more than Luther Head and I think he should be getting more or at least equal playing time to Head.

From what I've seen Von Wafer has looked good; he has been up and down, and has at times looked brilliant while other times looking completely cold and even lost. Generally though, his performance thus far amounts to his looking like a promising player.

I really hope he stakes out a spot long term on our roster, and doesn't get traded or somehow cut in the near future. It seems like if he's given a fair chance and time to develop he could become a pretty solid roleplayer on our already deep team.

I can't wait to see if he grows into the type of player he really seems capable of being. Of course, if he overachieves and develops into more than a strong roleplayer type we're not gonna be able to keep him secret-and should that happen we may just have to let him go in the next few years. Until then though, I hope he continues to improve and eats up as much of Head's rotation time as possible.

    We can only hope...

hes a good fit for us. obviously barry wont play a full season and luther cant guard 2s so there comes in wafer, 6'5 210 shooter. we already saw him do his thang. he wont do it every game cuz hes not kobe bryant, but a good piece for a depth at the wings.
