    we have a winner.

if the OP wants to talk about his FG% then lets compare his FG% over the first 15 games of each season he started with a new team.

I think it's a good news that Ron is sucking. We have two superstars in Tmac and yao, so we don't need ron to much more than taking care of the team when Yao and Tmac are off the court. Ron loses some shots but creats more oppotunities for others like Aaron and Landry. And Ron always doesn't shoot the ball until others pass it to him when the 24sec has been mostly used, ron dribble the ball alittltbit and makes a jumper with three opponents on him. Kobe may keep high FG with such shots but Ron is not Kobe, never to mention Tmac who always shoots the ball the moment he reaches his shooting range---two steps off the 3 line, and always miss it.

I would rather to see rockets break up the first round while ron sucks during the whole season, then we're gonna re-sign him at a lower prize.

give him some time, its a new team, new system for him and i think he puts too much pressure on himself. through the course of the season this kinda things will even out itself. we just need to think revenge against Spurs tomorrow. we cant afford anymore losses like against the blazers, pacers and the previous spurs meltdown game.

    Let's find a way to raise Artest's FG%

We have heavy weapons, but we can't use. This annoyed me. Have you any ideas?

In my opinion, Artest is more like a PF, he should give up middle-range shooting and attack into paint. Landry can be instead of Scola and play SF.

The most efficient way is to trade a better PG, a good PG knows how to bring teammates into play.

Morey, trade a good PG please, this game vs Nuggets told us what a good PG mean to one team.

post up? should use his strong body as a weapon

strong body doesn't mean that he has soft hands

Ron is not a PF. He's always been a swing player. His feet are quick enough to play the three despite of his size. The main reason that he can score in the post is because the players guarding him are usually twos and threes and smaller than him. If Ron is guarded by a 6'10 PF it'd be much more difficult for him to score in the post. His shooting woes this year are not due to him playing the SF. I think there are two reasons he's not shooting well: (1) not familiar with the system/playing with Yao and TMac (2) He's not completely healthy--hence missing layups.

Maybe you are right. And all we need is a place where they (Artest Tmac Battier Francis and Yao in the near future) can rest and talk about our system.

If Ron plays post he will average 20BA, get blocked 20 times per game average. Nah. Keep him on the bench.
