My brain also tells me that Tmac and Yao grew 2 year older and went through multiple injuries.

I agree. A lot of realllllyyy bad decision making went on in this game from the coaching staff and players. We wasted so many second chances with poor shot selection and ridiculously poorly executed plays.

Very hard to watch. Cost me a lot of money. **** the money though I just wanted a W. Our inconsistency is really starting to get old.

Yao has never averaged 18 shots a game in any of his seasons in the NBA.

By 2010 the Rockets will rebuild and both Yao and Tmac will be traded.

You don't have to worry about the LAKERS,you just worry about Rox. Yao will happy about that.

Von Wafer, Landry, Brooks are the best things we've got right now. Stuff this Artest trade, we haven't clicked at all. I think hes focusing too much on his offense and not defense.

Yeah i don't get all the Rick Adelman bashing. Some of you guys forgot that we didn't advance out of the first round with JVG either.

It 'could be' the players. Let's see who's defeated Rick Adelman in the playoffs, Michael Jordan's Bulls, Isiah's Pistons, Robert Horry's Lakers (you know it was Horry that screwed Sactown over), Dream's Rockets (first round in 93, sorry Clyde)...

and Yao Ming's foot! :D

Not in a whole season, but I believe season 2006-2007 prior to his injury he was at least attempting 18 shots or more per game.

If Yao is not a chinese, but a native american with his bbal skills and height, together with his shortages, is Yao still a star?
Yao is not a dominant palyer, but he is definitely a great center in this league.
    Top 3 NBA centers.

The NBA no longer cater to centers, Centers are a dying breed.

The Lakers have been popular, nationally, locally, and internationally regardless if they have any Asians on their squad.

I also think Laker fans love their history too and they care about championships. Also, is it me, or they have that Bynum guy?

Moving Yao to the Lakers does not increase the Asian popularity of the Lakers in LA. I believe the Lakers are already popular with everyone there, Mexicans, Asians, African Americans, Rich white movie stars etc

Hello Rick Adelman, this is Yao Ming, the most dominant big man in the game.

JVG said the hell with systems. He had enough common sense to know you win consistently in this league by playing to your two best players strengths. there will be nights like last night when the Rockets minus Tmac and with Yao on the bench will run Adelmans system and look like the Sacremento Queens and threads will pop up saying 'see we are better without Mac' or "we are better without Yao' but the wiser folks know that to win consistently in this league everything will have to go through our two main horses - Yao and Mac. You dont make two great players like Yao and Tmac try to fit in YOUR system. You create a system around them. If your system allows role players to put up a little better stats at the cost of stifling Yao and Mac's dominance, then the hell with the system.
