My guess is that Yao's either still not 100% right physically or he's suffering from post-Beijing Olympics hangover. Whichever it is, he just doesn't seem all there right now.

Would you do a Yao Ming for a Pau Gasol?

If I am the Lakers, I would do that.

I think this image will haunt this team for a very long time:

Imagine Yao, T-Mac, Artest, Rudy Gay, Scola, Landry, and Brooks. With that type of talent you can even win with Rafer.

He is pretty much the forgotten man on offense and if he doesnt play solid from the beginning he gets benched pretty fast... but man Yao, Artest and Rafer could be 0-20 and they arent gonna be taken out of the game... no sir!

I would hope not. My position is that Rick isn't out there on the court playing. I agree that his offense doesn't work....when you don't move the ball. There was no ball movement tonight from our starters. Rafer and Artest just tried to force horrible shots all night long. I'm not saying Rick doesn't deserve any blame, because he does. But your posts make it seem like he's the only one to blame.

Last year Scola got tons of minutes because Yao went out. we went 40-11 when he was inserted in the Starting Lineup. For some reason this season, he plays the first quarter then he is benched for a ton of time. Its absurd, He brings hustle to the team and is hard nosed, instead we continue to play rafer and give him more and more shots

Addled-man, um is that supposed to irritate people? Is it supposed to catch on as the new hot thing? I'm not sure what it means and it takes more time to type it than Adleman. Please explain because you over use the hell out of it....

I like RA enough. Our second unit is fun to watch and plays well together. However, it feels like he is compelled to play our big 2 1/2 (Artest needs to prove himself a little more before he counts as a whole). Inserting Yao when we were doing well made no sense otherwise.

    When is Yao's contract out?

Soon, I hope, so we can get rid of all the Yao homers, and then in 2010 we should be rid of all the Tracy homers....
