They are going to the playoffs, no question. Now, if we can just tie Cleveland's record (or do worse), that would likely be #15 and #5 in the draft. That is just sick, silly, ridiculous and crazy. Maybe this lousy season will be worth something after all.
Which white stiff will Rudy blow it on this time? Seriously though, I hope the Rockets trade this pick for a current NBA player. I am sick of rookies.
Maybe he will waste it on a black stiff. You people who base color are just aboutas ignorant as the guy who wears a sheet over his head. White,Black they are all equally the same Would you like it if I said all players caught up with the law in the Nfl are black? See how ignorant that sounds? I guess next it will be Yellow stiff
Troybaros, You obviously have not followed the Rockets the past few years to see some of the horrible white players the Rockets have drafted with high draft picks. Save your racial lecture for another board. geessh.
'01 - Griffin '00- Collier '99 - KT '98 - Dickerson, Turk, Drew '97 - Rhodes '96 - No first - Harrington #30 '95 - No first '94 - No first '93 - Cassell '92 - Horry '91 - Turner So, out of 10 years, the rockets spent a "high" (first round) pick on a whitie in two of them. OK, to be fair, it is 2 of 8 (Harrington counts becasue they specifically traded out of round one for him, and he was the first pick of the second round. As far as players, it is 3 out of 11 in ten years. Collier was the highest at 15. The other two were late first round, where most players don't really make it anyway.
A win tonight for Toronto (@Ind) would all but guarantee an extra pick for us. More importantly, keep the tank in full gear...lets stay behind Cleveland!!!!!!
Da...you're right ...24th actually...for some reason, I always thought he was a middle second rounder
Tor @ Ind tonight....the good thing is that currently, Tor is tied with Milw and Indiana's next game is against Milw...one of them has to lose
Go Bucks!!! We want the Raptors to make the playoffs, but I don't think we want them to move up into that #7 spot.
If we tie Cleveland's record, don't we do a coin-flip with them? I think it was in 93 that hen DRob's jumper went in after the buzzer, we fell into a tie with Seattle. Seattle had the tie-breaker, with the result that they had home-court in round 2 and we lost game 7 in OT in Seattle. But this was ignored come draft time, and to add insult to injury, Seattle won the flip, meaning we picked after them. We then picked Cassell, however, and got the last laugh. Or is my memory fuzzy?
