Hey I'm happy Head performed well in this game but it's a contract yr, even Jerome James, Mike James, and probably every other James all had great contract years.

to those who dont know why Yao had just one rebound (or who didn't watch the game at all)

he was boxing out duncan and oberto the whole damn game, they basically locked arms against one another during every rebound. THat's why smaller players got the rebound cuz yao was boxing guys out for them.

loved seein battier and artest out there at the same time ... wow.

man this is the one game where basically everything went right.

every player contributed and played to their strengths. we didnt even have to have yao put up big #s. true team basketball. scores off ball cuts ... made open shots ... creating turnovers-> fastbreak opportunities and actually finishing ... propz to hayes on the coverage on duncan. propz to luther because of all the stuff every1's mentioned. i honestly cringed a lil at seeing his name and pic in the starting lineup but he showed me up and showed quite a bit of professionalism ... for a guy to go several games with little to no playing time and then to start the next night and do well ... mad propz luther.

i love ab's hookshot on the right side. deadly. well come to think of it ... ab is excellent at using the glass on the right side period.

    good game rockets.

    Luther fr@ggin head????!!!!

Had me a bit worried mid-game, but I'm pleased how the Rockets pulled it together and won in a big way.

Most things already stated before. Loved the ball movement, the fast breaks, the defense. Liked how Shane was used in the middle. All good!

    Can't agree more.
Yao just played as a real team player, so did the whole rox team.
A couple seasons ago when T-Mac was out, Yao took over, he had 20-25 shooting attempts and got 30+ pts 10+ rebs almost every single game, but rox stll lost too many games. Rox lacked talent those days.
Right now, it is totally different, this team has talent players, we are much deeper, Yao doesn't take all the responsibility when T-Mac is out.
Rox needs to be a real team, forget about the stats of our stars as long as we are good enough to play nice games and beat teams like Spurs.
Yao is not a great rebounder as we all know, but after watching tonite's game, I've noticed that Yao tried his best to keep TD and Oberto out of our paint and help his teammates grab rebs.
Stop bashing Yao on the 1 reb game, pls.

DH dropped 32/21 on the freaking Pacers. And Yao couldn't get the last shot off one foot from the basket.

This game was for the non-believers, to those who thought it was a sure loss because McGrady wasn't going to play. You know who you are.

    Defense ... Defense ... Defense ...

I was at the game and the offense created by defense was a sight for sore eyes. Yao didn't rebound but he contributed in other ways with the hockey assists and his defense. Chuck Hayes was marvelous defensively and Luther Head was the Luther Head of old playing off the ball. Ron Artest got the short end of the stick on a couple of calls but he kept at it.

And to top it all off ... the team kept the peddle to the medal and allowed Artest and Yao to play low minutes tonight.

If Rox did not lose to pacers, they might not learn the lesson and have tonight's blowout win.

Dude, I don’t wanna say that, but your comment is kinda funny and fastidious. Datas sometimes lie. I am wondering if you watched the game. In the 3 quarter, it is Yao’s pass to make others shoot much easier.

I was at the game tonight...and at the beginning when everyone is supposed to be on their feet, I was, and the people behind me poked me on the shoulder and asked if I could sit down because I was blocking their view... I was sitting in the lower bowl....

    I was like, seriously?

And they left during half-time....what scrubs

But other than that, good game.

If rockets cannot keep the margin in the 4 quarter, I don’t think adelman will still keep Yao on the bench.
