College Football Games Today relating to the Big 12 BCS Mess

Thought so, that sucks going 11-1 and still only playing for the cotton bowl. Bad year for them to have one of their best seasons when Big 12 south was this strong.

Probably. He threw for 370, even if about 100 of them came on tipped passes. He also had the "ESPN OMG!!" with the up-ended run...even though he lost the ball and it looked like he was closer to the 2 or 3 than the 1 to me.

 

that and the players walking out of the stadium with horns down.

look fellas...if you're running horns down when you're not even playing the horns...that's kinda goofy.

 

I think it will come down to next week. Tebow and ? will one last chance to impress...

Coach Brown is the one who came on ABC talking about how they should change the system almost as if hes already accepting defeat.

 

osu's D could have at least pretended they've played football before. 8 straight TD drives? a girls middle school team would've put up more resistance. and robinson is apparently not good at holding onto a football. lets ou get to 60 points b/c he can't hold onto it and somehow missed the rusher on that 10 yard sack on the earlier drive.

ou's offense is averaging something like 53 points this year. that's up there with 83 and 95 nebraska. granted, they run the hurry up as fast as possible so that helps them against other teams that didn't do that and they've played tons of horrible defense and against good offenses that made them keep scoring. and the ****ing cowboys couldn't hold them under their average. in fact, just to kick me in the balls one last time on this disastrous weekend of college football, they got to 60 one more time and increased their scoring average b/c zac robinson just throws the ball down and b/c the osu D gives up a 30 yard untouched rushing TD with 20 seconds left when they knew ou was just running the ball. bunch of losers.

although if ou's D plays like they did tonight and have all season, florida is going to score some serious points against them. and i hate florida as well so this is just going to be a great national title game. urban meyer or stoops with another title, ugh.

 

that's what they get for handing ou the big 12 title. just laying down for ou so they could get the title was disgraceful. cotton bowl is too good for them.

 

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I wasn't talking about anything he said tonight. I've always thought Stoops was a prick, ever since he's been at OU. It was more of a general statement rather than having to do with anything related to this game. He's an arrogant ass that always has a stupid look on his face, and I feel great joy anytime his teams fail.

 

UT can't exactly cry about this whole mess - they're the team that lost to what we now know to be a pretty average Tech team....did ya see how Baylor almost beat Tech today? Baylor!

I stand by my OU/Florida BCG title game prediction

 

I use to be a fan of Texas, the fact is Texas had every chance to win the big 12 title and be in the national championship but blew it. I still hate OU more than anyone but they are the better team. Never knew Longhorn fans were such crybabies. I am not complaining about anything about where we will be. But since your annoying me Crabtree FTW!

 

so we're going to have back to back sophomore heisman's? damn. and what's the record for all-time TD's? bradford is up in the 80's in only his second season. it would be nice if ou ever had to play a real defense outside of us or tcu.

 

Anyone else want to see Missouri somehow pull an upset, just for the hilarity to ensue? Texas to the MNC, Missouri to the Fiesta Bowl, Oklahoma to the Cotton Bowl, Tech to the Holiday Bowl(?), Okie State to ??

 

A better team who lost on a neutral field by double digits to the less better team, yup.

 

UT blew their chance when they lost to Tech. It is pretty clear now that Tech is a notch below and there was no reason UT should have lost to them.

OU seized their opportunity. I am rooting for Alabama all the way.

This system sucks anyway, tell Barack Obama to pass legislation to force an 8 team playoff.

yes, by losing the same number of games as texas. excellent job. apparently their skill was in the order in which they played their tough opponents. our failure to alter the big 12 schedule showed a real weakness.

 

Everyone is entitled to an opinion that is just mine. I think their wins were more convincing. I hope Texas stays ahead of OU, I really do but I don't believe they will after this week.

 

You know I hate when I hear that Texas had their chance and blew it. Couldn't the same be said of OU? Do they not after all have one loss? How could one team with one loss blow it but another team with one loss not?
