I have followed the Rockets since 1992, and I must say this team has had the worst luck with white guys in the league. Take a look at this list:

    Chris Jent
    Richard Petruska
    Zan Tabak
    Serge Zwikker
    Brent Price
    Bryce Drew
    Mirsad Turkan
    J. Collier
    Dan Langhi
    Pete Chilcut

Some of these players were 1st rounders, others were 2nd rounders and some have had some success with other teams. For example, Brent Price set a 3 point record with the Bullets, Tabak was OK with Toronto, and Chilcut had a successful stint somewher else, I think. Yet their Rockets career were complete waste.

The only Rockets that were able to raise to some degree of mediocrity were Scott Brooks, Matt Bullard and matt maloney. None of them were ever drafted.

At the same time other teams have had quite decent white guys: Peja, Brent Barry, Vlade Divac, Nowitski, Nash, Wally, etc...

Uhh..Rudy T. was pretty good.

But other than that, you're right. There's no way we can win the Title without a white guy. I know 4 white guys and they're all great at basketball. The brothas think they're great, but they can't hold the white guys' jocks. Yeah...I agree. We need to make getting a good white guy the #1 priority this offseason.

    j/k ;)

Ralph did NOT suck (as far as I know), he just thought he was a guard in a center's body... then his knees blew up. If you saw the shot that rocked L.A.'s world in '86 you would lay off Ralph.
