This isnt substantial by any means, but I was thinking about Houston's draft picks and their offseason. Since Minnesota does not have a draft pick at all, they may be willing to do trade Szczerbiak for a lottery pick in the top 5. I think its fairly conceivable that the Rockets could trade their draft pack along with Kenny Thomas to the Wolves. Since we need to fulfill a need at small forward this would be awesome for us. We all know that Rice won't really cut it, starting at 3.

Now if the Raptors make the playoffs this will be even better because we could possibly have a chance to fulfill our problems at the 5 spot, if we get their 14th pick. In this case, I think it would be best if we were to pick up Amare Stoudamire. In case you havent heard of him before, this guy was dominating players (when he was a junior) from the 2001 Draft at a Nike Camp last year. I have a feeling he may be a tweener between the F & C at 6-10, 240 pounds. If he works out and gains muscle and fills out to around 250, then I think we have a new starter. People are saying that he is possibly the best high school player ever.
    Here is his NBADraft bio...

Now as far as the log jam log jam at forward...

I have a feeling that Langhi, Williams & Willis will be gone with their contracts expiring. If Thomas is traded this leaves Griffin, Morris, Rice, Taylor. Its easier to balance 2 SF's and 2 PF's than 3 SF's & a PF.

    PG- Francis/Norris
    SG- Mobley/Torres
    SF- Szczerbiak/Rice/Morris
    PF-Taylor/Griffin/Morris
    C-Cato/Griffin/Stoudamire

It will be awesome if Griffin bulks up a lot over the summer, 20 lbs to be precise, enough to where he can probably swing between 4 & 5 (240). Morris will probably get around 20 mpg swinging between the 3 & 4 spots. We should bring Stoudamire around slowly because its not a guarantee he will be able to go out and dominate right away, like all high schoolers, he will be a project for a year or two. Here's to the future!

KT alone is way too much to give up for that punk ass Wally Suckerbitch. I think some fans on this board really undervalue KT. He is still on his rookie contract for next season and has developed into a force in his own right. He plays good solid defense and has probably the quickest step to the basket for a 4.

i think that if anyone out of kt, moT or EG would be traded it would have to be moT. i know it cant be done anytime soon due to moT's injury but i just think that KT offers more to this team than moT does. i know some of you will say look at what moT did when he played last year, but u cannot overlook the fact that houston has been injury-plagued all year. sure moT missed all year but francis missed 23 games, not to mention that we lost to starters from last year (olajuwon for draft picks and shandon for rice, who only played like 20 games this year). and if we could somehow off-laod that contract of his it would be even sweeter. i personally would not like anyone to be traded, as we are not sure how houson would do with a full healthy team. i just say we wait until next year to see the current development of this team especially when we add the draft pick or if we trade just the pick.

No, I don't underestimate KT at all. In fact, I think hes pretty good. I think Szczerbiak is more of what we need though. The main reason I say trade someone along with the pick is so that we dont have even more of a problem at the forward slots than we already do. Wally is coming into his own and I think down the road he will be better than KT. A remember there was a post about the Rockets sending the Clippers our #5 and KT for Magette and Odom. I think its much better to send him to the Wolves because we at least end up with somebody that doesnt smoke a whole bag of dope ever day. :D

I love this Stoudemire guy. He is awsome. I have said it over before he is what we need. He has the Ben Wallace look I think. He could be a starter next year. But I think we should keep Willis here for one more year so he can be a tutor. Him and Rice whoulld great leadership ( Only if Francis can't do it). Stodemire is the way to go in the draft. I dont know about the Wally IDea though I think he is an untochable for the Woves:D :D :D

I don't like this idea at all. Wally come in here and think he should be the #1 option on this team. Because of all the shots he demands, he causes KG to score way less than a player of his caliber should. Not to mention, he likes to dribble the clock down to find a shot just as much as Steve, Cuttino, and Moochie. Basically I think we should keep KT and if we trade anybody it should be MoT because he costs more than Kenny yet he scores less and doesn't rebound at all.

Who would play defense on this team? The only move that we need to make is one that puts us into the playoffs. Do you honestly believe that Wally would get us to the playoffs? The guy is a liability on defense. We already have Rice to do that.
