So... you're saying that, if trends continue, we should expect another first round punk out again this season? Great. For a second there I was worried that was gonna happen again... wait...
Can people catch a reality check for once? Lets see: -TMac isn't 100% -We have to add Artest into our system -We were missing Shane Battier -Yao was having issues And yet we are still 1/2 in the SW division. We have played some tough opponents in Mavs (2), Boston, Lakers, Suns, Spurs, Hornets, and Blazers. Of the 8 "easy" teams, we have only lost against 1 (the Pacers). Yet people act like 16 games into the season, we have to be in playoff shape w/ the Big 3 in sync and everyone understanding there roles. If come February, we are out of the playoff picture, then people should act like the world is coming to an end in RocketLand!
Well, not exactly because "starting off slow" the previous two years was a 6-11 start and a 17-17 start. This season its 10-6 and the division lead. That indicates that we should do better this year. Besides, last season if we had had Yao in the playoffs, who knows what would've happened. Maybe we would've lost in the 1st round, or maybe we make it to the WCF. Thats not really what I mean by all this ranting though. The point I'm trying to make is that a championship isn't won in November. We've started off "bad" and then finished with 55 wins before. So all of this talk about how we are playing so bad and everyone needs to be traded is BS because we've gotten out of far worse holes before.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I should have that ready on a txt file everytime someone goes nuts after a loss.
