Let's be honest guys, our ultimate goal is winning a championship.

Yeah Yao is efficient, but when it comes to crunch time it's not like he's yelling for the ball. In the Western culture, if you don't call for it someone else will.

T-Mac is a great individual and team player. Unfortunately, his role is limited to a Chris Webber/Grant Hill veteran type role due to his current state.

What we need is to have a new leader. And it starts with Ron Ron. He brings passion to the game and can bring a new identity. The type of identity the bad boy Pistons used to have that strikes fear into the opposing team when you came into town.

Right now the Rockets have no identity and Yao Ming is to blame. Yao Ming has unable to make his teammates better and he's better used as a Pau Gasol/Number 2 guy.

We need to build the team around Ron Artest, and have the players take on his identity.

That would not be a wise move. Defensively the team needs to show intensity like Yao but on offense Artest has done nothing to say this team should be built around him.

I see marion being the leader, as long as ron and yao are both that humble.

I heard someone say we should trade t-mac and chuck hayes for Shawn Marion. I don't know if it was him or not.

that's fine if he wants to be a leader, but you're not gonna get anyone to follow you whn yo shoot worse than rafer, misses more layups than rafer, and basically sucks on offense most of the year.

if ron can be a leader, rafer can too.

Every single time a team has no identity there is only 1 person to blame. And that person the coach. Not that I am bashing Adelman. But if there is no identity, thats on the coach. Easy. Simple. Case closed.

    100% correct in my opinion.

We had an identity under Van Gundy. As a stellar defensive team that brought the effort and rebounding and rotations every night.

We haven't found ours under Adelman, yet.

Any team coached by JVG would be a top 5 defense in the league. We don't have an offensive identity because we have no offensive players.

no, he is not. he is what he is. he is physically strong and a good defensive player. Tmac is the one that u talking about, but obviously he's not in shape yet.

Thats why you get some players that have been coached by Mike D'Antoni - the master of offense. Marion is out there, i'm sure the Suns are willing to give up some of their bench players, but we need some high field goal percentage players. No more wasted shots Ron Ron and Rafer i'm talking to you.

Yao gets the most touches, and he should.............

Ron should be our attitude leader no doubt but he is a 2-3 option on offense............

Yao is the most efficient post scorer in the game.......Ball goes through him no matter what..........

the whole leader idea is whack IMO

leadership should come from every player doing what they do to the best of their abilities in order for the TEAM to suceed

someone declaring themself as the leader does nothing. i saw JVG more as a motivator than leader and he did a great job of it (top 5 defense). adleman makes the players rely on each other for that fire

i think this team's problem is the chemistry, not "leadership." roles are not yet established because the whole team hasn't been on the roster for a SINGLE game this year

once tmac comes back and is mobile enough to move a little without the ball and having ron off the bench (which gives him much more freedom to post up), this team will become dangerous

but yao makes mistakes in clutch time often which means we cant just pass the ball to him in the 4th qtr. thats why we suck in the 4th qtr.

I'll answer you that after 42 games.

Until then, I'd say 'Lakers? who?'

    Go Rockets...
