I remember reading in an article that Tracy would be using his off time to do some more rehab on the knee. I doubt that's why he wasn't there, though.

I missed the game, so can someone enlighten me. Did Yao have a chance to dunk the game winner, and went up with some of his typical soft, pu&&y layup stuff?

The game shouldn't have even come down to that last possession, which was basically Rafer holding the ball for 8 of the final 14 seconds, then giving it to Ron who took a bad shot, then Yao getting the rebound and putting up a shot while being surrounded by 4 players. It was an ugly possession for everyone who touched the ball.

My bad, you're right that Ron passed it to Yao, but after Yao missed, Ron got the rebound and put up a prayer.

This game is proof to a great deal of the people on here that Tmac makes this team better, not hurt it.

I didn't read the entire thread but from the impression I get, people are missing Tmac ... sad how quickly people shift gears.

I don't know, I may be out of line, but I have been browsing these forums for a few weeks and I've honestly been disgusted at how bitter some you people are. It's really actually driving me away from posting here more and trying to become a member.

People need to put things in perspective, sure we may not be the best team in the NBA - but why not look at the positive? We are one of the top teams at least and we can usually give any team a challenge on any given night - imagine if we were in Oklahoma City's situation or some other crappy team like that?

But looking at the positive would be too hard, it's so much easier to jump on the hating bandwagon. Then again, that viewpoint could be made for not just this forum, or sports in general, but our society as a whole, especially the media- always driven by negativity.

Seriously. NBA teams lose to other NBA teams. That's a fact and people need to get over it. Sometimes you lose games. Gasp.

And you always get the "but elite teams don't", then, you're kidding yourself if you think we are on the same level as Boston or LA this early in the season. Just calm down, and let things play themselves out. If we're at the All Star Break and not looking very sharp, then I'll be a little worried.

By the way, that response wasn't directed at you, it was agreeing with you, directed at others who are freaking out. :)

i'm willing to bet Yao cant squat his weight. I like yao as I've stated many times, but his core strength isnt good at all. Thats why his balance is poor. When he gets bumped, he's off balance. When he defends, he's straight up and down. I want to say lazy, but he's tired because of a lack of strength. No one can put this loss solely on Yao. Everyone that gets pissed at Tracy really realizes he's the best playmaker and decision maker on this team. has been, will always be. Like I've stated many times before, the inability to be versitile is going to be the rox downfall. The pf's are the same and the guards dont compliment each other either. This team will get better, but they need their best players to play better. BTW, Yao shouldve dunked that ball on the last play. This isnt the cba, he should know better by now.

One day people will realize that Yao doesnt have the explosiveness to dunk at will and that taking the time to gather himself to do it gets him stripped of the ball when he is in that much traffic.

But people wont realize this coz they are too busy imagining how super they would supposedly be if they were 7'6.

Stop being so darn judgmental. You will never be 7'6 or have any idea what its like to be Yao.

This goes for the Tmac haters also. You ever played basketball against NBA caliber players with ****ed up knees and lower back? I didnt think so.

But nevermind... you can get back to your rants now.
