I noticed last night that Steve would be just fine without Mobely, and instead with a big guy who can score, and a healthy squad.Sure, I would like to keep mobely, but the rockets and Steve won't be successful, until it's Steve and a big scorer with some D.IMO those are the first two options and Mobes the third. But if takes Cat to get that big guy then we need to do it.I think Rice is going to be allright next year and MoT will fill in just nicely. If we traded Cat for a big guy and somehow moved up in the draft to get Woods would you be happy? As I posted before I would love to keep Cat and somehow get Woods and Stoudamire.I noticed last night that Steve was taking it all on his shoulders, and taht determination with a a big guy doing the dirty work and making the D honor could open it up more for Steve.I think it will help his game tremendously. But would any of you be willing,if Steve is willing, to use Cat and Kt to get a big man for Steve?I think this team could still work without Cat.

You couldn't do a deal like that unless Francis was already resigned. I would rather hold on to Cat, make a run for Odom and display Cato and Taylor next yr with my eyes focused on Duncan in 2003. I may be in the minority but if the Rockets play their cards right, they have a chance at him unless he either stays or run to Orlando. If Duncan sees a lineup of Francis,Cat, Odom, and maybe Marcus to keep him from having to play center, that would be a real good versitile lineup. We might have to give up Griffin, aolng with Taylor,Cato and a pick, but he's worth it.

This may be a bit bias....because I am a huge Cuttino fan...but I don't think we need to trade him to get a playoff bound team...The way I see it...In the big picture, if these two play together for some 4-5 years they could be one of the most deadly duo's ever. Give it some time...Cuttino is ranked 16th in the NBA right now for points per game...If Francis wasn't hurt at the beginning of the season he would be there as well.....I mean these two are big talent...they just need some experience and some healthy teamates....
