By duo do you mean players that play the same position (see:Scola and Landry) or are you talking about players that play together (see:Brooks and Barry)?
The best/most important duo is easily the 111 show. Remember, those are the two that are supposed to carry this team to the promised land. But, if we're just talking intriguing, then I think Scola and Landry fit the bill. I enjoy watching them because they're the epitomy of efficiency out of the PF spot. It's funny because neither of them are stars, but when you combine their stats, we almost get star production out of that position. Their strengths are completely opposite of one another, making them extremely diverse and dynamic. Scolandry is destined to be a critical element of this team's success.
I went for Scolandry because they ARE our PF line (with apologies to Chuckwagon) If neither of those guys doesnt play well, we really struggle to stay in ballgames.
That's exactly the point. They're our lockdown defenders who can shut down Kobe night in and night out. Can't wait to see 'em both on the floor to suffocate the opponents by their smothering defense.
Battier and Ron ....can't wait for the Lockdown D these two are gonna bring to the floor. Hurry up and get better battier
Having seen the other duos interact already, I'm more intrique with the Shane & Ron duo now. After watching Ron's defense so far this season, I can't wait to stick Shane next to him. It probably won't happen much considering the position they both play, but damn, Ron and Shane together or one right after another...woohoo!
Brooks & Landry have saved us a few times. But the Battier/Artest combo will be a lot of fun to watch tonight.
